BE WARNED going into town there are UNMARKED speedbumps. Definitely took us by surprise! Once you get here, there's a path that follows the railroad to 1. The bathroom and 2. The tall walls for roped climbing and the trail. We came for the trail. The trail is 2.2 miles and about 1.2k ft in elevation so it's difficult. The trail itself is very narrow compared to other trails, but when I say it is difficult- I mean the trail is rocky and steep. There are many switchbacks and cliffs along the way so be careful and definitely not recommended to bring children unless you are very careful. Otherwise a 10/10 experience and 4/10 for safety in my opinion. Absolutely beautiful at the...
Read moreThis is such a nice parking area! We happened to accidentally find this gem and ended up hanging out here for a few hours on a hot day. There are a bunch of picnic spots to have your lunch. The current was fast and you could see lots of sharp rocks. We noticed that people parked here and walked across the road to what must have been a climbing area. It was highly trafficked with people coming and going for climbing, but nobody was really by the river, so it felt like we had it all...

If you want a cool show, park down the road and walk over to the base of the wall and have a look around. All are welcome but try to consider the close parking might be best used by people hauling equipment...
