This place exceeded my expectations in the best way!!! My husband has wanted to skydive forever... we've been married 20 years and that has come up several times. It was something that was a bucket list dream but with work, kids, money, time... it was never something we felt like we could sit down and PLAN to do. His birthday is next week and I decided to take a risk and book him the experience as a surprise gift.... From the phone call with questions all the way to the jump itself... amazing experience! Everyone was amazing, kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable booking it in the first place. No question was stupid, all concerns were addressed. They are fantastic people to work with. The center was awesome. Being January, I knew it would be cold... but they still were there and ready to go! Huge shout out to Jimmy who flew with my husband!! You're awesome!!!! Not only was he totally comfortable, he had an amazing time and totally wants to do it again. (Wants me to do it too! 😁) and after what I experienced today as a standby, I'd be completely comfortable and able to do that! I don't always find the time for reviews but this had to be done. They helped me deliver not only an amazing birthday experience but a dream come true today and I am forever grateful!!! My husband even received a certificate for his jump and some swag! For my 35th Birthday I asked my mom to skydive with me. I’ve always wanted to go and found this to be the perfect time to do it. I was excited and I was worried I had built it up in my head to an expectation it could not possibly meet. This experience blew my expectations out of the water and soared straight past them.

Phillip Tancrede was my tandem instructor and while I know there is no perfect jump, parachute, parachute packer, plane or instructor Phillip went above and beyond to make me feel like I was in the best hands, I felt safer jumping out of an airplane with Phillip than I do getting in the car with most people. I could not have asked for a better instructor, I am forever grateful to Phillip.

In addition to Phillip I had an amazing videographer he caught one of the best moments in my life in the sickest way, he’s a sky ninja that i unfortunately can’t remember the name of, I have tried to find it because he truly deserves to be recognized but I haven’t been successful finding it.

Skydiving Monroe did a phenomenal job, a tone has been set in my life. Every day all I can think is I have got to find a way to do it again and again. People who have made the jump know that life can be broken into two separate parts BS (before skydive) also speaks for itself and AS (after skydive). This was my second tandem jump in 22 years. My first on my 40th birthday. It was to get over my fear of heights. Nope, didn't help and I swore I would never jump again. But life has a way of evolving, expecially during Covid. This time, I jumped with my Georgia Tech son as his birthday present, and my reward from getting from 280lbs back to 220lbs. It was incredible. The teams were polite and easy to get along with. My personal pro was Jimmy. Although I was only his third "non-pro" tandem, and 594th jump, he handled things better than ever. Jimmy talked me through every step, every change, and let me steer for an extended period of time. The pro's with my son and his roommate were equally professional, informative and entertaining. It was a beautiful day, and a fantastic experience. I whole-heartedly recommend Skydive Monroe. Also, as a last note, expect that they will be running behind, and that you will be watching a few jumps before yours.Enjoy that time, it adds to the experience.
