I wanted my Mom to have some of these delicious Pecans. I placed an online order on 11/21/22. In my email receipt I saw a $15.50 shipping charge for a $17 dollar bag of nuts. I called immediately to cancel my order. On Thanksgiving Day I saw a charge from my bank of $33 dollars and some cents. Was the girl too lazy to do her job, or did she just not care. I will follow up today to see if I can get a refund, but I'm not holding my breath. Probably a family run business that does know their value. Too bad, the nuts were really good.
Update: I called Stone Mountain Pecans first thing this morning and my shipment had not gone out. Good! She said to look for my refund between 5-7 days. OK, that's what I'm talking about! Good nuts AND good customer service. I'll go into the store to buy my Pecans. Thank...
Read moreFor the past few years I have been purchasing pecans from this company and shipping them to Ohio to my father. He's 94 YO and likes to get the new crop of pecans and shell them as a hobby. This year I purchased 3 bags of pecans and had SMPC ship them to him. When I spoke to my father after they arrived, he said he didn't think they were this year's crop because they were so dry. I had a chance to see what he meant when I visited him for Christmas. The pecans were so dry and tasted old. Definitely not the quality we had in the past and a waste of money! I spoke with SMPC and they said there was nothing they could do. Next time I'll try the Farmer's market where you can taste them to see if they are fresh! Loss...
Read moreWe drove by this place on the way to the thrift store and decided to stop to see what this place was. It has loads of different kinds of nuts, candies, local Loganville honey, dried fruits, preserves, jams, pecan syrups and salsas. They have grits and corn meal as well. There are sugar free options for the chocolate covered nuts so there are plenty of things for people. We picked up so many things, two kinds of sugar free nuts, dried mangos, dried papaya, dried cranberries, banana chips, black bean corn salsa, Brazil nuts, sugar free pecan syrup, corn meal, honey and two different kinds of jams. I want to go back to pick up items for Christmas for family and in-laws when I am back in town. Go check it out, it may be...
