You've just played a show in Atlanta, and you have a twelve hour drive to Kansas City. You hit the road and decide to grab food later. Everyone else in the band is wishing that there was some kind of healthy grocery store option along the way. You agree, but you also know the chances are slim.
The task of finding such a spot using your phone has become more and more trying each time you do it. After a quick search for restaurants on your route, the results are looking expectedly bleak. Subway, McDonald's, and gas stations who offer false promises, like overpriced Naked Juices and Clif Bars. A quick scroll, and you give up.
You put the phone down, and gaze out the window, admiring the scenery, and then you pass it- a billboard with an intriguing moon logo, and the words "organic" and "Mooney's”. All of you who saw it were excited that this could be the place you were hoping for, so you stop. Things are immediately looking good.
The store is quaint, and the options cover just about anything you could ask for, food and sock wise. Of course it costed a little more than some of the other stops on this tour, but no one would say it wasn't worth it.
Salads, juices, smoothies, wraps were all delicious, and everyone left feeling grateful and satisfied. You make note to remember this place for future J...
