I came here for line dancing & the line dancing was super nice & the venue is cute. If you’re relatively young looking, you should probably bring 3 forms of ID and your past 3 years of pay stubs so you don’t get interrogated like you’re the owners 15 year old daughter about the get grounded LOL. My friend and I (25, 24, traveling from Michigan to work as occupational therapists) with Michigan IDs had our IDs checked at enterance, were questioned there (we get it, all chill all good). Then we get asked to come back up front because the manager wants to confirm our IDs (also fine). The owner on the other hand though, comes in hot with his sassy white man apocolyptic attitude. We give our IDs, they’re looking at it with a flashlight, then asks us a series of questions with HEAVY attitude and accusatory, asking if we have military IDs, asking for a passport, asking why we were in California, told us when we said “we’re working as occupational therapists” that we sounded like we rehearsed that, asking when we graduated high school, I had to show my work contract with my SS number, full name, job title, etc. to get in. My friend and I, were coming to Hacienda with our coworkers, sick way to welcome ur local rehabilitation team. The double checking IDs would’ve been totally fine and chill, I was trying to keep it light the whole time being understanding, meanwhile the Hacienda gestapo did about everything but double check to see if our hymens were still intact. Everyone involved BUT the owner came up and apologized. I wasn’t even going to drink, and didn’t LOL. Totally understand needing to double check, but biiiig damper on the night when this could’ve been a civil reasonable not accusational...

It’s difficult to make something old feel new but his team has done it. Shoutout to Cody, Paul, Brianna, Nicky T and the boys at Wedos Tacos. The staff understands hospitality and how important eye contact, handshakes and good vibes are to building something special. I never post reviews, but i love this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to host an event, or hang in the valley without...
Read moreIf you want to see some wonderful western flair, Carmel Valley style, this is a great place to do it. Located near Earthbound farms and other awesome local businesses, it has great folk art surrounding and in the business. There are county fair style activities for kids with balls, and a Halloween maze. The pool table area is like an outdoor saloon! We got to say hello to the resident cat as well. There is a cafe with small bites to eat and a farm supply store. Definitely...
