The place was beautiful, but as soon as we got out of the car a lady greeted us yelling at us no professional pictures. We tried to explain that we were a family and were not taking professional picture, just regular pictures as the Facebook page said we were allowed. Since she kept walking as we were trying to explain we entered the shop to explain we are a family not professional picture takers. She allowed us to stay and take some pictures but asked us to stop afterwards saying the other people in the farm couldn't take pictures. There was about a total of 10 people apart from us in their entire property. We made sure we stayed in 1 roll, were respectful of their property and their lavender. We were not disturbing anyone. Our 3 kids were not running around, but stayed by our side the entire time. We entered the shop to contribute something to their farm and as we were looking around we saw the same lady looking outside the window talking rudely about our family, I guess she didn't realize i was right behind her.. We bought our stuff and left disappointed at the way our day went. We were looking forward to go visit them since last year and were excited to be able to go. Their website looked like a family friendly place but it's anything but that. We did contact them before going to see if they had any restrictions or capacity limit since my sister and I with our kids were going. All they said is wear mask in the shop and that they are open from 10-4. I will not be returning here even though the place is beautiful since the experience was horrible. I wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreThis was our second visit and I must say we loved it at least as much as the last time. There are lots of very friendly Alpacas to see, feed and pet their incredibly soft woolly heads. Bag of pellets to feed these beautiful gentle animals are available for one dollar at the gift shop. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. I usually support this great place with a $10 donation. There is a concrete sidewalk leading from the parking lot to the gift shop and the Alpaca barns making it easily accessible for seniors or people with mobility issues like my 94 year old mom. The two ladies at the gift shop are amazingly friendly and kind. The gift shop offers a great variety of items such as soaps, lotions and scent candles made from lavenders grown on this farm. There are also many products made from Alpaca high quality wool and yarns of Alpaca wool are also available for sale. The experience of actually seeing these fascinating animals up close and interacting with them is priceless. We truly love this place and can’t wait to...
Read moreMy spouse brought me here for a beautiful Mother’s Day outing with the kids. This is a small family owned business, which we love to support local and family owned businesses. Everything was very tidy and clean, which made a great impression upon arrival. The cute little shop had everything lavender! (They also have honey products as well) It smelled like heaven in here. If you love lavender as much as I do, you’ll really enjoy the shop. The owners were very friendly and chatted with us the whole time. They answered all my questions as far as products and about the field. Unfortunately May is not in-season for the “pick your own”, so we will be back late June-early July to get the full experience. They also had the cutest, friendliest Alpacas. We were able to purchase food bags and feed them. They were adorable. One of them was pregnant, due soon. If you want to walk one, make sure you book ahead. We will definitely be back to experience this cute little...
