I've been coming to this fair for over 50 years since I was 5 years old but fortunately will not go anymore due to the raising the gate admission from $10 to $15 which is ridiculous and outrageous for people who can't really afford it when inflation is going sky high and also you can save money on keep having local artists coming here to perform on the free stage instead of having people from Canada, Missouri or wherever to perform here and pay them probably a couple thousand dollars or more to perform for mostly little kids four to six times daily. REALLY! Hey support your local folks and save money. Your making this fair not a county fair and food fest anymore. This is has been for the last two years now to be a beer fest. Too much trouble and not enough security and sheriff to handle the crowds if it happens to get out of hand. Your prices for the concerts were absolutely outrageous. $90 a ticket for Lainy Wilson for the track and grandstand, $75 for Cody Johnson. That is absolutely stupid to be that high. They're not worth it. You guys are starting to get really like the Iowa State fair and Minnesota State fair. It's all about money, trying bringing the people out who can't afford it anymore. Fair office staff get your priorities straight for the near future because if the economy gets worse in the next several years a lot of people won't be coming here because they can't afford to go anywhere including here. I know I won't be coming there ever again....

a friend in her 80's and myself in my 70's had a ball it was so clean and organized it was jusst amazing i remember as a little girl my folks tthat had immigrated from germany a few years before put down a blanket and we had a picnic and watched horse shows and races. even though we thought we were the oldest ones there it was so much fun to put our chairs down at 400 and go get a beer and walkk around and looking at everything and i mean everything that was there we got something to eat and went to sit down and low and behold before we knew it the stands were full around us and out came the alligator the kids loved it again i have to say it was so clean and everyone was just like you would think iniowa with execuse me and sorry everyone was so nice and polite we have already planned that we will be next year at the age of 83 and 75 oh we sat in the chair with the big butt or seat and took pictures and have had some good laughs over it i ddont know how you keep it going and so organized but kuddos to all for all your hard work from two old ladies in marion had a ball...

The Jones County Fair is located in a very small town, but the music venues who have performed here, are HUGE!!! Due to this fact, concert tickets sell out fast & you can drop a good chunk of money to see some chart topping artists. I have to say it's well worth it! (Keith Urban - 2017) My only concern with The Jones County Fair is the issue of limited space on the fair grounds where all the vendors are squeezed in, leaving even less room for the public to walk through. It was a little difficult to find what you were looking for, without stepping out of the herd, and asking someone. Also, the lack of places to sit, other than the stadium, which is only open to people with concert tickets a short time before the opening act. Even with my very minor complaints, I would definitely recommend going. I know I'll be...

I live in a city, which is one of the county seats in Oklahoma that has roughly 100,000 population in the city, not including the county population. It also includes one of the largest military bases in the country and we have nothing comparable to your county fair in our county. You guys up this away are blessed to have such an Great County Fair Grounds. The stadium in which you held your concerts at the fair grounds was awesome, the fireworks at the end of the concert were awesome. The food vendors and rides were great and the people were awesome. The state of Iowa and Jones County are what America is made of!!! Thanks again for the hospitality. God Bless Iowa and God Bless America!!!

Was a great time. Got free tickets to see Creed. Beggars can’t be choosers but damn I would’ve rather paid for tickets to have a seat. I wore the wrong shoes to the show and had tickets for the track. My feet were smoked before Creed hit the stage. But the show was fun. Tons of food vendors selling typical state fair and carnival food. Bunch of carny rides too of course. Beers were reasonably priced. 10/10. Would go again.
