I always, in my 4 visits, have enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff in every dept. Also, the customers whom I encounter are very courteous and friendly. That means so much to me. Everything is clean, no funky smells, and I have only great input...except one. When I visit the Fareway stores, normally my groceries are taken from my cart by the staff, which is a great help to me, since I have rheumatoid arthritis. It's really tough to pick up any given item over 2lbs or so, and it's one of reasons I return to Fareway beyond the staff, the ease, and let's surely not forget the best meat counter ever. Those guys and ladies are top notch. I only feel that comfort, ease of pain, and expediation could be accomplished by updating the checkout. Please, keep in mind that the staff are beyond wonderful. Read moreI just wanted to get some dog food and I got to talk into one of the clerks and we were talking about the new Ireland butter. And we talked for awhile and we talked about breaking bread and stuff we just had a nice conversation and I enjoyed it the people in there are so friendly and so nice. A few weeks ago I was in there when I came out I had a flat tire two of the Carry Out Boys tried to change it but they couldn't get the lug nuts off so the one went in and got another guy and he came out and change the tire for me. I thought this was so wonderful of these young boys because they didn't have to do it they were supposed to be working but they were out there trying to help me change a tire.
