Bingham's Custom Meats — Local services in Morgan

Great quality but Disappointed in some sales tactics.

Some things to know when buying from Bingham’s: the $/lb listed is not per pound of meat. It’s the gross weight and includes the packaging. We bought a large order and while putting it all away we were counting packages and noticed we were short on “1 lb” packages of ground chicken which led us to weigh everything and find we didn’t have the expected (and paid for) poundage.

Packaged meats $/lb are gross weight Our order also had a 40# box of chicken breasts - they trim those 40# and still sell it as 40 lbs.

Summary: Positives: We love the product quality. The meats and bacon bombs are awesome! excellent packaging

Negatives: The pricing is deceiving - you’re not really buying per pound of meat. This information is not on their website or readily apparent. Lots of recipes use 1 lb increments, so I expect 1 lb of meat in a package. This is going to cause issues in the future when we’re pulling packages out of the freezer.

Recommendation: To Bingham’s Keep up the excellent quality and packaging. Fix your pricing to correctly reflect how people buy weighed items. Up the $/lb to account for your labor/packaging/whatever, but if I buy a pound of something it better be a pound.

To consumers: Account for the weird pricing but definitely recommend Bingham’s for excellent...

Im not one to write bad reviews but after today I feel I need to share. A week ago I had my wife stop in and pick up six tenderloins (as we often do) due to having some important guest coming over for dinner. I sent here this text because she was unsure of how to pick them out. " six 1 1/2" to 2" thick center cut tenderloins" told her to just show them the text and they would take care of it. She did and when she got home I began to prepare them for dinner and this is what we got (see photos) all end cuts. I was embarrassed to serve these to our guest but we made the best out of it. Today I stopped in to purchase some more steaks and showed the lady these photos of what we got last time we stopped in. She was very defensive but did remember my wife coming in. She told me they couldn't do anything about that? I told her I buy my meat here because this is a custom meat shop and I should be able to get custom meat...then she rudely said, we can't control that. Well guess I will be finding me a new place to buy our custom meat...

I recently visited Binghams Custom Meats in Morgan, Utah, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff that was eager to help. The shop has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The selection of meats is outstanding—everything is fresh and beautifully displayed. I was particularly impressed with their variety of custom cuts and specialty sausages. The staff took the time to answer my questions and even offered some great cooking tips.

I also appreciated their commitment to quality and local sourcing, which is always a plus in my book. The smoked meats are a must-try! I left with a few items that I couldn’t wait to cook, and they did not disappoint.
