I found Houston to be the consummate professional: friendly, efficient, a great communicator and one who completes the job with high quality workmanship. I experienced a problem with my furnace this morning, unfortunately, right before we are expecting a major storm and some very frigid weather. Because the furnace still seemed to be working (although not optimally) when Houston returned my call, I almost told him the issue could wait until early next week. After describing the symptoms to him though, he said he was very concerned the issue might need to be fixed right away. He said he'd be here as soon as possible, and his pre-assessment was right. The pilot sensor was extremely corroded and hours away from completely failing. My (ancient) furnace is almost 30 years old, and the replacement part would have needed to be ordered from a parts warehouse, and who knows how long that would have taken. Houston ended up creating a workable sensor from a part he had in his truck that came from an older furnace. By no means an exact match, but he fashioned it so it would work well with my furnace. The flame pilot was also plugged up, so he cleaned that and got it working efficiently again. I was so happy to have my heat back on after thinking I could be waiting days for a fix. We called Houston to check it out. He checked every aspect out, took his time and let us know it was not efficient and showed us all the results step by step and even diagnosed non hvac items needed addressed.
He quoted us for a new unit, installed it and he went above and beyond, did extra repairs for us and kept us up to date during the day as he was installing it. Its been very enjoyable in our home now!
He came out again to service our mini split the following week as we were having issues in the wife’s shop. We will be using Houston here on out!

Approximately one year ago, our air conditioner went out when the temperature was 105. We purchased this unit from another company prior to Houston being in business. The company that we bought the unit from said it will take approximately a week to get a part to fix the AC unit. They left us hanging out to dry. Houston heard from our neighbor about the problem and called me and offered two portable AC units to keep our house cooled enough to survive.
