FUNderdome Skate Center — Local services in Moulton

I used to go there a lot, one day I went to see my boyfriend ( now ex ) I was told I couldn't go in without them checking my purse ... I let them but I asked if Morgan - the owner - could. They said no ... I personally know Morgan from my mother, they are friends. They took out a lot of things, opened my wallet, took out my Id and counted my money... I was one of the only people who was checked .. my other friends weren't forced to. They tried to prevent vapes and drugs but there were so many. I can't tell you how many people I saw with needles. They also didn't let me near a boyfriend ( ex ) a lot, the old woman would tell him to stop holding my hand or stop helping me through crowded places ( I have problems with being around a lot of people) I also saw a lot of the workers vape. Their wheels broke on me, I was just staking normally and one flew off, I almost hit my head. Plus their prices went up over time. I liked the owner but she let her workers ( her family) take over the whole thing... Their music also sucked.. it was the same songs over and over.

I also want to say I got into a fight with a grown woman outside the center. She hit me and was very drunk, her boyfriend or dad got her off me, it's not like she hit hard but it doesn't mean it's ok. I stopped going after they served my purse and counted my money ... Like I'm the problem but the kids who volunteer to get free entry are not? They are the ones who sold the vapes to other kids.

The older woman was also very racist to people.... Kicked a boy out because he was sitting with his legs open " gangster style" she said some very horrible things to the kid- he was maybe 17

I won't go again... All of this in one night is horrible...

EDIT- I wasn't the one to go this time but I will put it here- my family member - female 24 was yelled at for sitting in the adult room. Why was she yelled at ? They didn't believe she was 24. She looks young yes but from the video I saw it was horrible. It was the same old lady who would get into me and my ex. I heard the prices were up? I couldn't tell you if it's true. Also this family member has a kid, she said the kid wasn't treated well and got lost in a crowd because of teenagers. This center is only made to hold so many people. They go over that limit! They will pack kids in no matter how bad it gets. Btw AC still is broken from what I'm told .. I wouldn't try to go here if u have kids. I posted the OG post a long time ago and have been updating - so please note that the dates of this post will not line up with the day each thing happened. I am posting this late. You lost another one of my family members. Fix your center! You committed under this post the same you do for all others. U havent improved. The only reason this place isn't shut down is because they overprice everything - let kids sell weed/needles/ and vapes ( making them come back for more ) and because the owner is well known. FIX IT.

Even though they were a little pricey I was shocking very pleased by the whole experience. #1 I liked the security they use to insure your child's safety. Your child is not entering or leaving without being signed in by an adult. #2 It must be something in the water bc Every single child/teenager we came in contact with was so respectful and they didn't hv to hv law enforcement their to keep them in check. #3 Loved the parents lounge with the messager and comfy clean furniture! #4 I read one of the reviews about the music....but I thought it was age appropriate and it was music perfect for a skating rink. Even though bc it's an hour drive from where we live in Athens. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Decatur area. The djs have bad music taste(not everyone likes country music) and apparently they don’t take recommendations, they said they do not when I asked., the co workers are annoying and have bad attitudes, i got yelled at for falling by a orange hair girl, they only let one person in the bathroom when there are like 2 stalls, they turn the lights on where there are too many children (aren’t organized) the new owners should know the middle of the rink is made for...
