I’ve been to Flower Fan-A-See before and had gotten some great flowers in the past. I chose them to do my bridal bouquet and throw bouquet.

My bouquet’s were both to consist of colorful smaller flowers. The main large flowers and focal points of both bouquets were to be large white lilies. I came into Flower-Fan-A-See with this desire and she said no problem.

I got both bouquets the day before my wedding since they’re not open on Sundays. When I arrived they were ready to go, but the lilies were all closed up and hadn’t bloomed yet. I was assured that they would be open by the time of the wedding, which was the following day at about 8pm that night. I asked if they needed to be refrigerated or anything special since it would be a little while. She said to let them sit out in the house. And so I did.

The next morning, Sunday, they still hadn’t bloomed. I was super concerned since this was my big day. By 1pm doubt set in and I was feeling crushed that the lilies hadn’t and would not likely bloom in time.

By luck, I was told of someone who grew them in their yard. I was blessed and so very lucky that they gave me 7 big beautiful lilies of different colors. I stuck some into my bridal bouquet and onto my wedding cake.

After returning from a family trip I phoned Flower Fan-A-See to inform her that the lilies, in fact, did not open for my wedding. I also kindly reminded her that the lily’s were supposed to be the main flowers of the bouquets. Mind you, the whole conversation I was composed. She gave a general apology and stated how nature does its own thing with a laugh.

I felt disregarded, this was a huge day for me, for a bride, and I didn’t feel that she understood that.

Anyhow I’m giving 2 stars since the other flowers were fine but I couldn’t see giving 3/5 stars, a majority, since my main flowers weren’t bloomed when I was assured they would be.

This is what I will recommend - yes Flower Fan-A-See is still a good place to get flowers. But I’d take into consideration any event that’s similar to my own - that it may not work out.

The picture I added was taken after my wedding and I circled the closed lily’s that were supposed to open. The other lily’s were the ones given to me right before my wedding, and stuck in the bouquet.

I’ve never given a review with both sides of the coin so I’ll say this - I would recommend Flower Fan-A-See for flowers but would not recommend for any similar, time sensitive,...

I have always had great luck here wether buying flowers or receiving flowers. Always very knowledgeable and helpful! Huge variety of gifts to go with the flowers if you want a little extra something to go with or even by itself! They also carry all kinds of different flavors of Skinny Syrups! I love shopping small town! Always greeted with a smile and great service. My whole family gets flowers from here as they don't live local and they have for years as my grandma lives here and she loves flowers. They are rarely disappointed and if there's ever a problem they don't hesitate to make sure its corrected and everyone is happy! Sorry for the long post but I'm always happy with the service!
