Bargain Hunters Thrift Store — Local services in Mount Holly

Arrived at the store about 6:25pm on Sunday. At 6:30 they announced over the intercom they would be closing at 7pm and to bring all your items to the front. Well we keep looking around along with a few other customers. My Wife and daughter where close to the front looking at clothes while I was checking out the junk in the back. The man sweeping the floor was the one that made the announcement, at 640pm we were walking to the front to check out and the man said he was gonna have to be an Asshole since people couldn't make their way to the front to check out. It's only 640pm and your store isn't but so big. You close at 7pm also, so why the hostile attitude? We spent $19 dollars. $19 dollars in 15 minutes and 20 minutes before you close!

There was another couple in there, the lady wanted to try on a dress and was told they close the dressing rooms at 630pm.

Overall a very poor trip to a LOCAL store. People always say to support local.. but they don't appreciate the ones...

Sad to see the prices just keep rising and rising. Most items are priced at near eBay prices but there's no guarantee that stuff works and there's no returns or refunds. At least eBay has a 30 day return policy... I've bought and donated a lot of stuff to this store over the years but I think I'll be taking my donations elsewhere if they're just going to gouge the community and price comp against online options. If you're not providing the same level of service as online options you shouldn't expect the same prices.

This location just added a 'new merchandise' section which is unfortunate. It replaces a large portion of the books/movies section that is now occupied with new Chinese junk. Many of these low cost 'affordable' items are extremely low quality and will break soon after purchase. These types of items will end up costing people more money in the long run because they have to be replaced with greater...

I found some really great bargains. Everyone was very nice. Great shopping experience. The reason for the 3 Star is because my young child had to use the bathroom really bad and they wouldn't allow him to use it. The lady that came from the back to tell us no was polite. But she said the manager watches them from home and wouldn't want him to use it. At the recommendation of that person and the fact that my foot was in an Air Cast, we had to run to the nearest Restaurant and beg to use the restroom. Thank God they were kind enough to to allow him. I can't believe any reasonable human being would allow a young child to stand in the store and possibly urinate on themselves. So if you go shopping in there just Especially with a young child just make sure everyone goes to the Bathroom before...
