The last two times I have ordered from this place, there have been issues. First, I ordered the ACP and it had NO Cheese Sauce on it. They replaced it on another day.
Today, I ordered One Chicken and Steak Quesadilla with Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, and Cheese, and Sour Cream and Salsa. I was told on the phone that My total was $7.65. When I got there, My total was $8.95. I questioned the difference. I was told the Sour Cream doesn't come with the Quesadilla and cost an additional $1.00. I had also asked for an additional Sour Cream before knowing that each is $1.00. So, basically, I ended up paying $10 for this Quesadilla.
Once I get home and settled to eat...two things give Me pause...one, the Quesadilla is folded like a taco in one tortilla and is soft...two, the Quesadilla has everything I ordered except Cheese AND also has Zucchini and Squash in it.
I call back immediately and speak with Jessica(who is the one that took My order). I explained what was going on. She advised all of their Quesadillas are like tacos with one tortilla versus two tortillas with the content in between and brown and crisped on both sides and cut into four pieces. She advised they don't do Quesadillas that way. Next, she didn't seem surprised that My order had squash and zucchini and no cheese. She advised it could be replaced another time.
Then, I look at the receipt, and it has marked out squash, zucchini, and tomatoes, in addition to what I ordered in the Quesadilla. I have NO idea why these things were even on My order to begin with.
My advise would be PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!! Prior to these experiences, I had not had any problems with Elle Valle. I don't know what has changed for these things to be happening.
I will be looking for other options when I have a Mexican...
Read moreI haven't ate everything they offer, but everything that I have was great. They are always kind and you get your food in a timely manner. On a negative note, you have to ask specifically for sweet tea even if you order sweet tea online or call in sweet tea. The last two times I have ordered sweet tea, I have gotten unsweetened tea. They don't have the tea ready at the bar when you go to pick it up, so they either ask if you got it or you have to remind them. In today's case, I called the order in and specifically said "sweet" tea due to previous experiences mentioned earlier. When I got there, again, the tea wasn't ready. She looked at the receipt, which shows "SWEET TEA" and asked me if I had the tea yet. I said no and she made them and gave them to me. I wrongly assumed that she read the receipt and drove home to enjoy my meal. Guess what? I HAVE THREE UNSWEETENED TEAS THAT I WILL NOT DRINK AND HAVE LOST $6.00! If I order from there again, I will have them let me taste the teas before I leave. Check your stuff, especially if you order tea, before you leave. Edit regarding response from owner: Dear owner, Thank you for responding. I must add that I always add "please have teas ready at counter" to special instructions and still have to ask for them. In total, I have lost $24 ($6.00 on four occasions) when I have been in a hurry, sent someone else to pick it up, or had a delivery service pick my order up). Would be nice to be reimbursed or get a complimentary order of Nachos with beef and the three teas. The cost is about the same. UPDATE 7/9/22: Management still has not responded to my request for reimbursement of a restaurant credit after they acted like they cared and responded to this...
Read moreAfter a long drive home with crying kids in the car we just wanted to make dinner easy. Once we walked in it was nothing but problems. First thing it was freezing cold, so cold that I went to the car and got my family some of my clothing to stay warm. Then we noticed that the AC was leaking on the floor. When I asked the waitress about the problems she didn't understand a word I said. After finally getting my message across we were able to move to the back where it was warmer by at least 5 degrees. Once we sat down we asked the new waiter if we could have a minute to look at the menu and never saw him again. Finally when I went to talk to the manager I found him sitting in the front watching some video on his phone. I asked him if he could talk and he asked what the problem was. I started letting him know about all the problems and he started to yell and me. I asked him to stop and he looked confused. Then he told me that if I wanted service I need to stay at the table or we could just leave. I let him know that I would have left already but I was told how good they are and i wanted to give them a chance. After that he started yelling that I needed to go sit at the table. Thinking that this might just be a culture difference I started to walk back to the table. At this point he started talking Spanish to his employees. Knowing a little Spanish and hearing him call me a Gringo I told him that that is rude and at that point he pushed me back towards the table telling me he will speak any language he wants. I told him not to touch me and my...
