We made an appt to go in and meet a dog whose photo we had seen on their website...the dog was super shy, but the center was accommodating and let us stay a good amount of time so the doggie came around and we ended the visit with him laying down between myself and my roommate, with the dog's head resting on my foot. And that was that. We decided, if he'd take us, which it seemed he would, our home would be his forever home. Adopting a senior dog can be expensive, but as a forever foster home, for Old Friends, Senior Dog Sanctuary, his medical needs are all addressed without cost to the forever foster! What an incredible thing! We get a dog to love and give love to, and feel the joy of giving a senior dog a stable, loving, safe, fun home for the duration of his or her life, AND we don't have to worry about medical costs. It has been deeply enriching to forever foster animals from this rescue organization. They have so many resources from physical therapy to a medical dept. i love being able to have sleepovers with these geezers and not having to worry about prescription diets. As a vet tech myself, Emily and Alx are so good to touch base with in regards to scheduling and appts, they are very knowledgeable about senior pets and so personable. I always feel at ease when working with them about my geezer! In the front office Susan is always so friendly and willing to help you with questions! I anticipate taking many more of these babies home in the future thanks to the amazing...

I'm sure you do amazing work, but your policy of only helping shelter dogs is sad. You could raise a LOT of money by helping people like me. Instead, my dog is...
