Go to their open house! It’s held annually, usually late October. Free taste of their homemade syrup made with berries grown on the farm poured over a scoop of ice cream. Also wine tastings, apple cider fresh pressed tastings, vendors selling homemade wares and crafts. Firepits for warmth outdoors, live music and more. Fun!

Stopped thereto check it out. Very nice. We walked around and enjoyed. Went to the shops they have and got some goodies. Sat at a table and enjoyed some of the fresh fruit and cookies we purchased. They also had a band there. Was very nice. Definitely recommend. Will go back again

This is our place to go for raspberry pie. We drive 50 minutes from Pittsburgh to get them. Although they also come to some farmers' markets in town. They grow their own raspberries. Their outdoor cafe is delightful, especially if you have a raspberry sundae on the table.

Been going to Sand Hill Berries Farm for about 13 years. Every experience going there yearly, gets sweeter and sweeter! ALL their Home made pies are an extraordinary experience! Absolutely Scrumptious! Never been disappointed one time. My personal treat is the Raspberry Glazed pie. No ONE but NO one makes a more delicious pie as THIS one!!! The Berries are PILED high on the crust which make it not only an eye popper but appetizing as well. As a result, The WEIGHT OF The pie IS heavy, worth EVERY penny , in my opinion, not to mention the deliciousness of the bite! The Glaze is of an exceptional flavor and not too sweet as some others and one of a kind! Another FAVORITE is the BLACKBERRY Glazed pie. We enjoy a smorgasbord so, we ALWAYS get more than one flavor at one time. Their double crust pies are just as good. When the season for Berries are done, they FREEZE some for the Winter months. One can enjoy a double crust pie of berries during the Winter time, providing they're not all gone, mid- winter. These pies are so famous and popular, one needs to order in advance during each Berry Season. They sell quite quickly. They also, have other quaint products, like one of a kind as well in their gift shop along with specialties of Olive oils and cheeses. This Store, Winery is definitely Worth noting for the pleasure of your eye as well as the palate! Gotta see it for yourself. So glad it's close by where I live. Either way, even if it was a slight distance from where you live, the atmosphere outdoors is a very pleasant and inviting, quiet, peaceful environment, with quaint outdoor tables, chairs, under gorgeous trees and flowering foliage, and gardens worth visiting! Have a FABULOUS Summer Blessings (To answer the question about STRAWBERRIES available NOW. YES, today is May 27th, 2021, strawberries ARE for sale NOW. Early June- the Red Raspberries are in season. The latter part of June are the BLACKBERRIES picking time. I suggest one calls ahead of time. They...

The atmosphere, wine, cookies, and pies are 5 star.

However, the Cabin cafe is a zero. I believe it is sub contracted through elegant catering so nothing against Sandhill but they should reconsider contracting out a catering company that has decent quality of food. I came here quite a bit for lunch last year (2021) and everything was great, especially the spicy chicken wrap. Today when I went I was looking forward to a wrap but was dishearten to find that everything in my order had something wrong with it and all the staff said was they changed their chicken. What I can say is whatever I took a bite of, it was not chicken and accompanied by a slice of tomato was see through and a whitish/pink color. Nothing spicy about the spicy chicken wrap. The kids meal had a packaged uncrustable pb & j that was frozen and when it finally unthawed about 15 minutes of sitting there the bread was stale and unedible. Save yourself the hassle and just go to the permission cafe for dessert and do not spend money on over priced food with questionable...

Okay but was anticipating a better experience. $20 for a cheese plate with pre-cubed GFS basic cheese cubes seems a bit much. It’s a winery. Dried out cheddar cheese cubes were not expected for $20 - plus tax and tip.

And the amount of guilt tipping requests is just over the top. Okay for the wine sampling staff serving you - no problem. And the one taking the food order, I guess. But the loud “do you want to add a tip?” when purchasing the wine is a bit much. I picked it out - all she did was take my money. And the person at the pie shop couldn’t answer our questions bc she didn’t know, but yet another tip jar and credit card tip request.

Very nice...
