Gall's Garden Produce — Local services in Mount Pleasant

If you are concerned about poison on your produce, do not buy from the Gall farm. Though the produce looks great and they claim it's "nearly" organic, their produce is NOT even CLOSE to organic. Their fields are treated with a chemical herbicide that prevents seeds from sprouting in order to control weeds. They sow seedlings for this reason (seeds don't germinate with this poison). Fungicide and other chemicals are used to treat crops. Many vegetables are sprayed with WINDEX window cleaner to make them look good!! Disgusting. I worked at the Gall farm for the 2014 season and know this first hand....

The produce is very good. We haven't had any questionable produce from here. My only gripe is an employee who likes to bag our corn and tell us what they have and what they will have.
