Smolenski Park — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

It was beautiful first time there enjoyed it but the female police officer had no business giving me a threatening look I was not even drinking and dancing with a smile I felt she was trying to intimate me I am a 62 yr old woman with a heart condition the band are my friends She did it more than once I had a cup with ice in it if she wondered she should have asked I had cold lemonade. I need this for my health I guess it doesn't do any good to say anything My friends drink and eat at these places I go I am a caring and friendly woman So We don't need to help this garden with our money if one of us will be intimated I can't drink or eat the food at festivals I have to have my health food but my friends make up for what I can't buy I do buy water never of all the Police and I have friends as Police officers seen such a mean look at me. Anyways I enjoyed my dancing and my friends but she needs a talking to I can always contact aging &disability on my behalf to protect me as you can see I did not appreciate her facial actions again if she thought some she could have asked me.Thank You have...

Nice park, good size, very nice picnic shelter area but 4 stars because this park always has so many bees and im not a bug person at all. I know this is nature and they can't control nature but it was a put off. I parked and my windows were down and as I went to roll my windows up 3 swarmed the car and were in my car. I had a toddler in the backseat and I had to work really quickly to get him out his car seat because they were flying all over the car. Again I am not a bug person and was overreacting a bit but I was able to get the baby out, the windows up and the bees out , so i hoped they were all out..but as we walked to the play area, there were more bees and I was so over it. Luckily he was too tired to protest it anyways so we were out. I kept searching all over for a nice park that wasn't crowded and finally just said , let's go to the goodwill and you can burn off energy...

Great space for all ages. There are 3 climbing areas from small to large so all ages have a space to play. There are swings, a large Pavillion with a lot of tables, and a restroom.

One nice feature is the trails through the woods, my grandkids live the trails too. The trails are wide, however little ones or anyone with difficulty walking may have a harder time due to tree roots in the path.

They were doing some upkeep/repairs to the trails entry this week, so that may change, depending on how far they go with it. There is another trail that leads over a small creek to a prairie area. This park is...
