Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Mount Pleasant

Rude employees non stop. First time I shopped a lady refused and gave me trouble over asking for help about toilet paper that was on sale but the shelves were empty. The manager pulled her in back. Second time I came back I was on crutches (dislocated knee) Gentlemen in deli kept making me walk over to him for my cuts instead of bringing them to me where I was looking at the case for more needs. Went yesterday for a couple things. Carrots on sale .99 they were out. Asked if they had any in back that turned into getting harassed. I moved on to the deli asked for honey turkey Same man said "well that turkey hasn't been open yet. I Can give you brown roasted" I said "uhhh I've never had brown roasted" At that point a lady behind the counter noticed what he said and told him to go around and get the turkey I requested. He then very upset sliced it and again while I was looking at cheeses made sure he put it on the counter far from me. I'm done with this piggly wiggly here. Why are the prices at Piggly Wiggly so high. We stopped at the Woodman's in Kenosha to check out their prices and they are much better than the Pig and the other two food stores in Racine (Pick 'n Save and Festival Foods). We were told by an employee at Woodman's that Piggly Wiggly is angry at Woodman's because they won't raise their prices to match Piggly Wiggly's prices. Why doesn't Piggly Wiggly lower their prices to match Woodman's prices? (As the other two stores might want to do) We only shop sale items from what we see on the flyers from these stores and Piggly Wiggly is about as high as Festival Foods and Pic n Save isn't much better. ALL these chain's basically have the same products so why are the prices so varied from one chain to another? We wonder if they are concerned about the customers they might lose when Woodman's opens in Racine and they are jacking up their prices to make up for their potential loss in the...

Just about every time I come here I get poor customer service. The employees seem more concerned with talking to each other than acknowledging the customer. I just went in for a few items and the gentlemen did not acknowledge me one time- he spent the entire transaction talking to his coworker about how the customer before me was on his phone the whole time. He talked about how rude this was. He did not say hello, he did not ask me for my pig card, and he barely stopped his conversation to give me my total. I wish I could say this is the first time this has happened but it’s not. It’s happened several times with several employees. I’ll drive a little further to go to Festival or Pick N Save...
