Ace Hardware — Local services in Mount Vernon

Having Ace fairly close is a benefit to living in the country. We just stopped by yesterday, a Sunday, and got our gas grill propane tank refilled when everyone else was closed and for a really fair price. Friendly people wanting to help, good quality products and services. I always return to Ace Hardware in Mt. Vernon, IN and am glad they’re here and hope they stay. They even have some old Sears tools replacement parts. I’ve joined their Rewards Program and have already taken advantage of extra savings and nice perks. They have a nice selection of garden products so I don’t have to drive to Evansville each time I need something. Nice bedding plants and ferns too...

Find what you need at Ace... to my total disbelief I went in there to get a cell phone charger cord and to my amazement they actually have them in stock several different kinds. 3 times I have went here to trade in craftsman tools and 3 times I am told that they can't trade them unless the manager is there. Not sure when he is ever there. Tried to get a key made here (twice) a few months ago but nobody knew how to use the key machine so couldnt get it made. 3 trips = still have same broken tools with lifetime warranty.
