Sportsman's Liquor — Local services in Mountain Home

I would give this store a 0-star rating if possible, but unfortunately, that option is not available. I have visited this store a total of four times, twice before the change in ownership and twice after. Unfortunately, I have been underwhelmed by my experiences. On all occasion, the day shift employee was openly smoking marijuana in front of the store. When I inquired about a specific beer and liquor, he failed to offer assistance, instead choosing to focus on his phone. Furthermore, the two new employees hired by the store have not improved the situation. One of them appears to be intoxicated while working, which is highly unprofessional. I had initially wanted to support this small liquor store, but my experiences have been disappointing. Previously, the store had employed two friendly girls and a guy who worked the night shift, and they made an effort to accommodate my requests. However, the owners were unwilling to stock the specific beer and liquor I was looking for, which is understandable given that I was the only customer requesting it. They have the basic items, and a nice selection of cold beer. I wish they carried more Bartender brand items. Great wine selection though. The guy working never spoke except at checkout, he wasn't rude, just didn't speak till that point and that's okay with me, some may like more personal 'can I help you' type service.
