Lovely little old time market in a very scenic area. Better than driving to Edgewood for basics. Quality is great and best of all, they sell local vegetables, honey and the best homemade jelly around. On 8/17/22 I purchased a beautiful ceramic mug from here, and was told by the lovely gentleman that rang up my groceries that it was handmade by a local artist. I love collecting items from our travels and this is my piece from Mountainair to add to my mug collection in our travel trailer. I'd truly love to know the artist if there is anyway possible.

Employees on the day of June 9th 2022 were very satisfactory today. Very helpful in all regards. My little sisters and I got ice cream and enjoyed ourselves!

Hometown flavor with a serious side. Great Friday night dinners, quiche and meat counter.

City-type health food, grocery and sandwich shop rolled into one, in a tiny remote town along US-60 highway. A Whole Foods/Sprouts/Trader Joe blend, so amazing! Very diverse mixture of brand health and general grocery products. Healthy looking veggies and fruits, some local when available. Friendly, product-knowledgeable staff willing to look up any ingredient queries you may have. Fresh-baked (PB!) cookies, very reasonable prices considering the location remoteness. Attractive alluring storefront. Creative spacious interior, ample front parking. Stop here before continuing on that long hot highway ahead of you,...

Bstreet market was recreated several years ago with donations from the citizens of Mountainair. It is a friendly store with a wide variety of foods. Both tourists and locals find it a valuable source of fresh, frozen and packaged goods. It also hosts a small cafe, and there is a piano open to whomever might wish to play. The prices are a little higher than those in our big cities, but this is only to be expected when the nearest full spectrum grocery stores are over 50 miles away. The convenience more than balances out the price of gas to travel to larger distant markets. I recommend the local...

We walked up to the counter and asked about a sandwich. We had been driving since 4 am and hadn't had anything to eat since breakfast around 8 am. He conveniently placed the closed sign while I was asking. You have got to be kidding me you can't make a traveler who chose to stop a quick sandwich. Ridiculous. I normally do not complain but when there is nothing else around to eat give us a break. I was going to buy some other things but forget it. We will go on down this lonely destitute road and hope to find something. One silver lining is we got gas earlier before driving on this...
