Read moreBstreet market was recreated several years ago with donations from the citizens of Mountainair. It is a friendly store with a wide variety of foods. Both tourists and locals find it a valuable source of fresh, frozen and packaged goods. It also hosts a small cafe, and there is a piano open to whomever might wish to play. The prices are a little higher than those in our big cities, but this is only to be expected when the nearest full spectrum grocery stores are over 50 miles away. He conveniently placed the closed sign while I was asking. You have got to be kidding me you can't make a traveler who chose to stop a quick sandwich. Ridiculous.
