The Shop: Lavender & Birch — Local services in Mukwonago

My first experience with Lavender & Birch was just OK. I purchased a pricier piece of furniture that was initially listed on FB Marketplace. Like all items on Marketplace, all prices are what is listed (unless a lower price is offered or negotiated). The listing mentioned nothing about this item being sold at a business, which means sales tax would be added to the advertised item's price. Only when I inquired that I was interested in the item was it mentioned that the price would actually be more than it was posted for. Additionally, the shop owner knew I was driving from an hour away and knew my ETA and much to my surprise when I showed up, there was a note on the door that they would be back in 45 minutes. I do love the piece of furniture that I purchased but overall wasn't impressed with the experience which is why I'm giving it a 2...

Super cute shop, with curated merchandise. My wife saw a sign on their Facebook page and we decided to check it out. The staff was awesome, the store manager kept our two year old busy and happy with a game of peek-a-boo. We will definitely be back! Now I just need to make room on my wall so I can go back and buy the bronze animal...
