I have eaten Indian food all over the world, including multiple trips to India, so when I pulled up to “India Restaurant”—inside an old gas station, no less—I admit I was a bit hesitant. But let me tell you, my reservations quickly melted away with the first bite. This place serves some of the best Indian food I have ever had, hands down. I’m still in awe. The kind and attentive lady manning both the food counter and the gas station register was a delight. Despite juggling multiple tasks, she made sure we felt completely taken care of. Her warm demeanor set the tone for an incredible meal. We decided to sample several dishes, and each one was piping hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. It was hard to pick a favorite, but the **Samosa Chaat**—oh my goodness. It was *mind-blowing*! If we hadn’t already ordered a variety of dishes, we could have easily made an entire meal out of just that. The combination of textures, the spice balance, the crunch of the samosa—it was an absolute knockout. And let’s talk about the portions: they were incredibly generous. We walked out with leftovers that were just as exciting as the meal itself—we could hardly wait to get hungry again so we could dig back in! If you're anywhere near this spot, you *have*to stop in. The setting may surprise you, but the food will blow you away. Don’t miss out on some of the best Indian cuisine you’ll ever have, tucked away in the last place you’d expect. “India Restaurant” is an absolute must-try!

I have stopped by on the way to Hotsprings to pick some Indian food here. You have an option to call and pre order and pay during pickup. Prices are quite decent but for my surprise the quantity of the chat was very less not sure why. The box was not even half filled. Taste was not okay. Edible. 😀 it will serve the purpose if you are hungry 😬 They have pretty good menu though..

We will definitely be back again! Their Indian food restaurant mainly takes call ahead orders for truckers who want to load up on Indian food as they can’t get it again as they journey westward. However, with a little wait time we were served some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had!

This was the best road trip surprise to find some of the best Indian food that I’ve ever enjoyed… and it was along the highway! I ordered butter chicken which was served in a pretty metal crock with a generous serving of perfectly prepared rice. My husband had Tandoori Mixed Grill that was honestly enough food that we should have shared it — and had we not been traveling we would have packed that and my butter chicken up to go so we didn’t miss out on savoring any bites! It was AMAZING!

The kids opted for burgers or sides of rice and some naan. I would be hard pressed to choose if the garlic naan or the keema naan was better but both were delectable.

We will...

Not much in the way of ambiance--it's a gas station/convenience store/restaurant along the freeway, BUT their Indian Food was awesome. I came upon Kountry Xpress by total accident. I stopped for gas and a candy bar. When I went in, I noticed they had Chicken Masala for sale, next to fried chicken, etc. When I asked if they had other Indian Food, they gave me a menu. I chose the Lamb Vindaloo and some Palak Paneer. It was delicious! It was extremely fresh, made to order. Such a treat, and tucked away at Exit 20 from I-40 in Mulberry Arkansas. You've gotta try this place next time you go to or from...
