Simply ⛳ awesome! If you haven't been to Streamsong, you're missing a unique experience. Better than Whistling and as exceptional but closer than Bandon (haven't been to Cabot yet).
The staff is friendly, helpful, caring, and just fantastic. The course is great! While the wider fairways of the new Black course are more forgiving than the Red and Blue courses, the greens are insanely more complex. An experienced caddie will make your round so much more enjoyable (we had Rome, who was outstanding).
The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The people here are interesting, fun, have a great attitude, and a blast to socialize with.
Lastly, our crew saw a BIG (10ft?) gator with a golf ball by his mouth (not ours luckily) on the 10th hole off to the right of the fairway by the cart path (about where we hit our drives) and I thus strongly recommend that you keep your drives on the...

However, the pro shop manager was super unprofessional. Ruined my entire trip. We got rained out on 9. I asked instead of a voucher (50$) if I can use it for store credit. And buy a 120$ shirt. Makes sense economically for streamsong to net 70$ more. I was rejected and the manager came out John? Or James? And told me no. I asked firmly again until he budged. As he was walking back to his “office” he muttered under his breath a snooty comment. I then told the two polite gentleman your manager isn’t very polite. He came out and cursed me out saying f*$k you. Completely unacceptable. I will never go back and I am appalled by the service. What a disgrace for a beautiful...
Read moreThe black course is the longest of the three courses. It is a par 73 track. It has a great layout for the precise, long ball hitter. There are plenty of fairway bunkers for challenging course management shots. There are a few blind drives and a few blind second shots, but of the three courses, it plays perfectly for a long ball striker. The greens on this course are definitely the most challenging and i would recomend spotting putts from both, all three and really all 4 sides. The caddies are the only way to play this course. I would recommend "not" walking/carrying or pulling your own bag. Enjoy the experience as a well developed player, grab up the caddies, and play like a pro. Great, great course and maybe one of the best...
