I purchased three new garage doors, when they came in I had them installed at my business. During the installation I was told that the springs that came with the doors were wrong. I called the store and after talking with them for over an hour, I was told that they were custom ordered doors and they could not help me. I was left out in the cold. I cannot run my business if I do not have working garage doors. Besides the temperature out side has been in the low twenties. I spoke with the manufacture of the doors and was told that when the order was placed by the store they did not put in all the specs so the order was filled as a normal order. The installers were able to locate the items needed to complete the installation the next day at an additional cost of $370.00 dollars. I went to the store and spoke with the manager, I explained the problem to him and asked that I be reimbursed for the additional cost of the proper parts to complete the installation of the doors. He said, "Due to the fact that you used an outside supplier for the parts, they could not help me." Read moreWhen visiting my local Muncie Menards. I spent over $500. In mt first trip, I had one item that was a curved curtain rod, it was priced on the shelf as 28.89. When rang up it came up 48.99. The Gm on staff refused to honor the price listed even tho the item was priced correctly and I had proof. He was very rude. Today’s visit was a complete hassle anytime I need help. I’m disappointed over the curtain rod but wasn’t a big deal, just the way it was handled was. At least 20 people waiting on one check out , employees attitudes. Took over 30 minutes to check out then the hassle and embarrassment they caused when I wasn’t in the wrong! They admitted to being wrong but refused to fix the issue! Very unprofessional. when I tried emailing Menards about the problem the either don’t respond, or their portal “isn’t working”. Impossible to get ahold of anyone or get help!
