DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! The owner is unstable & unprofessional. My friend & our 2 children purchased ice cream & enjoyed it. That was the only enjoyable aspect of the visit. After a long, intentional visit to THIS specific spot because of the good reviews, we were tired, needed a break from the drive and thought it would be ok for our daughters to look for bugs behind the ice cream shop. The owner's home is right next to to shop & we respected the posted "private property" signs. The outdoor dining area has "no smoking" signs posted- I am a smoker and respected those as well. There is a wooded area behind the shop that seemed to be the perfect place for the girls to bug hunt for a short time, while I enjoyed a cigarette before returning back to the road...

Well, turns out we were WAY wrong! The owner screamed at my friend & our girls to get off his property while they were in the woods. They apologized multiple times & were still spoken to as if they had ill intentions.

So, they left the woods & joined me next to the shop while I finished my cigarette. We were there no more than 15 minutes & the owner comes storming out from the front of the shop, asking what we were even doing back there on private property?!? We said to him we didn’t know this was also private property because we had just purchased ice cream and we’re letting our girls look for bugs before we got back on the road. He screamed that he was watching us on security cameras and already "warned us" to get off his property… He said it was for a dog run and we had no business being back there! Again, we apologized but he yelled at us, claiming we were being disrespectful and inconsiderate. The way this man spoke to us was completely unnecessary & absolutely disgusting.

If you're going to rage out on customers, you should probably make sure you actually post clear, signage. But it's obvious this man is bitter towards the general public & can't tolerate mistakes. I was embarrassed for his his inability to regulate...

My little group went to get the ice cream that we have been wanting and although the ice cream was delicious; the experience was awful. We left with regret and such a bad taste.

The 8 year old girls got yelled at for venturing into a wooded area that has a pathway. I was with them. A man started screaming at them to get off his property and I apologized over and over and explained that we had absolutely no idea it was private property because there were no signs or any indication that it was. He continued on his rant and we left.

The girls and us two moms were on the side of the ice cream building and relaxing before getting into the car - Just giving us all a break from the drive but made sure we weren’t on the property and by the woods any longer.

We went to head to the front and the guy was standing there and continues his rant of how we are still on his private property and how he owns all of it. That he didn’t appreciate us being there - however he was fine with us purchasing and eating ice cream before. Once again we apologized and said that we didn’t know the side of the ice cream place was ALSO private property. He continued to scream at us.

Very rude and...

Was in there for ice cream when another customer walked in with a service animal. Then denied service to the customer with the service animal; and began to asked what services the service animal provided, then proceeded to say the animal doesn’t provide a valid service. Just was completely rude and unprofessional. After this customer left this employee continued to talk loudly, rudely and unprofessional with another customer complaining about this individual. They were so loud and rude everyone in the store could hear. The atmosphere alone was so awkward and uncomfortable how they continued to degrade this individual that I left. I highly recommend they receive training and read up on the ADA and ESA. As how they treated this individual I’m certain his rights...
