This marks my second overnight stay at a Love’s RV Stop, and I must commend the company — this particular location surpasses the previous one in both quality and amenities.
The range of amenities is impressive. The facility is gated, and if an attendant is not available at the time of arrival, keypad entry instructions are conveniently sent via email. The restrooms and showers are exceptionally clean and also secured with a keypad, offering guests additional peace of mind.
In an unexpected but delightful touch, the property seems to benefit from the unofficial protection of a resident bird community — a charming feature best appreciated in person (see accompanying video for more).
There are several covered picnic areas on-site, two of which include gas barbecue grills — perfect for an evening cookout, schedule permitting. Additional amenities include a playground for children and two separate fenced areas for pets: one designated for larger animals and one for smaller ones. While these areas are intended for dogs, I can personally confirm that cats have also enjoyed them.
The property also features a walking trail, a cornhole game area, basketball and pickleball courts, and a communal fire pit area equipped with lounge chairs (note: guests should bring their own firewood).
As for the RV sites themselves, the layout is logical and thoughtfully designed. All sites offer full hook-ups, with utility connections positioned in the center of each pad rather than at the rear — a configuration that may be advantageous or not, depending on your rig. Many of the sites are pull-through, and several include individual fire rings.
My only concern was the lack of level grading at some sites, which is somewhat surprising given the facility's recent construction. However, I was well prepared for this minor inconvenience thanks to a helpful review by another guest (ProfessorKelly305). With that in mind, leveling the rig was a small and manageable task.
Overall, I found this Love’s RV Stop to be exceptionally well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped. I trust that others will enjoy their stay as much as I did.
To the team at Love’s RV: thank you for providing such a high-quality facility. I look forward...
Read moreGreat pull off location, seemingly safe, very clean with showers and small level sites, dog park, playground for children and pavilion. Price is high for the level of amenities, especially compared to the two other RV Parks I stayed in while in the area, Loves was the highest on this trip and charged an extra $3.00 for my dog to be present. There is an issue with access to showers, restrooms and gates if you don't receive your confirmation email (make sure you get your email before letting them off the phone). They do have a call button but no one responded to me. However, they do have a 24 hour phone line that I didn't bother with because it was 1 a.m. when I pulled in and where I'm from we don't call people at that time of night, regardless if it's 24 hours or not. Joe was very nice and helpful. It's a semi loud location due to the nearby highway and Love's Travel fuel station, so it's not a spot for extended stay in my opinion, for that I'd go to Florence AL RV Park and Resort 20 minutes to the northwest, they also have a heated saltwater pool and giant dog park at Florence RV Resort with complimentary laundry services for $10 less per day...
Read moreThis is only the second Love's RV place we've stayed at (the one in Choctaw, OK was great) and I wanted to love it. I kinda did - very neatly kept, nice showers. It even had a super friendly attendant, a decent view, and a tiny walking trail around the camping loop. But...
The sites are not level (maybe some are, but 29 definitely isn't and it doesn't look to me like most are). We had to use leveling blocks because our auto leveler couldn't handle the incline no matter where we positioned the camper. Now, that's not unheard of - we have to use the blocks maybe 5% of the time over the years - but I can't remember ever having to use the blocks on a concrete pad (and these pads are brand new, so no erosion or settling). Basically, they poured the pads to be "eyeball level" rather than actually level, which means every camper is going to be annoyed. Such a sad oversight - wouldn't have cost anything to do it right, but it will cost a bunch to fix. Love's corporate: make a better checklist of HOW to build these things so campers' expectations are met - I am behind you on the project and want...
