Dollar General — Local services in Muskogee

I've been a resident in warner Oklahoma for 20 years. In the past we've had limited shopping options and so we appreciate the stores we do have. HOWEVER, every summer we loose an option and it is your store! I'm not sure whete the person that makes the decisions is from or what kind of weather they are used to but it mid May and we are already sweating here. I just went in and the summer time thermometer u guys sale said it's 92 DEGREES IN YOUR STORE MID MAY!!!! UNACCEPTABLE! We are members of the warner chamber and please understand my family and friends are not the only ones in our community that will be using our family dollar in town all summer again instead of dollar general until someone in corporate figures out that stores should be able to adjust their own air conditioning within the store depending on that areas weather /and or your customers and poor employees deserve an air conditioning system that is adequate to cool a business of that size. Please understand this is not just something I'm just upset about now and will go away ! This issue has been going on for years it's just gotten to the point that I'm tired of spending more money having to go to other places during the warner months and my community is as well . I speak for my whole community when I say if dollar general doesn't care enough about its customers to at least not make us miserable to shop there then do us all a favor and close down so another business can move in that can afford to make their customers comfortable...

This is a need it now place as in you have no other option and don't want to drive to another town to get what you need. The store is disgusting employees are rude and hateful usually what you need is still on the shipping carts that are blocking every aisle. Or the massive amounts of trash piled every where. Then you get to wait in line for 15 minutes while the employees are on their cell phones or having a group discussion about how bad...

Some items are worth buying others not so much. Cheaply made toys and ear buds avoid those but food items are usually ok a little on the pricey side but if you're shopping local it balances out after you figure price of gas expenses driving to a regular store.
