We had a new Cross field tech, Dillon come by to repair/ replace old parts from original work. We have a new router- that works out on the porch! He walked out and checked. He checked all outdoor equipment as well. We are looking forward to the way it shld have been originally. Thx for great service, with good information and manners Dillon. Our internet was installed during the re-construction of our condo. With all walls open, we gave installer choice of router placement, 1st bedroom near garage, shld not b a problem, our condo is 900 sq'. Never got a strong signal, had to keep computer in kitchen, our phones dropped wifi constantly. Called to have it moved to central location to improve signal. Installer used our thermostat wiring hole for router. Mgr out sick, no $ confirmed, but I have complained previously. Next bill $$ increased. Called in, again no Mgr. Asked if they wanted to trade bills. We had to pay an electrician $250 to replace the thermostat and blown fuse in the heat pump. Damage done by poor work in freezing...
   Read moreI've been with Cross Internet Company for three years, and my experience has been disappointing. They offered me a plan at $77 a month for 25Mb, which is quite slow. Despite being a long-term customer, there was no option for an upgrade, indicating a lack of progress and innovation.
Customer service has been another issue. Representatives often provide unclear answers, and when it comes to modem repairs or replacements, it usually takes at least a week. I was even asked to bring in their equipment for a modem replacement when I reported slow internet.
Switching to Cookson Hills Electric Company was a game changer, as they offered a 1Gb plan. When I canceled my service with Cross, they again insisted I return their equipment in person. In my view, companies should handle their own equipment returns, as is standard with other providers.

Cross required a prepayment of $125 for a new modem. Soon I will have a new internet modem for the slowest speeds in Oklahoma. I have two devices using wifi and one device must be turned off in order to stream Netflix ! O by the way I have the gold package. Funny!
