
I came here with my family because my employer sponsored our tickets. This race was for the Hayden Ross "Forever 66" memorial.
My first experience at any kind of race was exciting. It didn't click for me that it was going to be loud. I started seeing kids wearing ear muffs, and I was thinking that it was just because they were kids... yeah, no!! If you are going to go, please bring heating protection. It didn't bother me, pretty much at all, because I'm mostly deaf but it definitely bothered my wife and daughter.
However, the food being prepared by teenage girls was sub-par, to say the least!! No gloves, dropping pizzas, and serving cold pretzels... my wife said, "What do you expect?" I expect to not worry if I'm going to be too sick to go to work!!
I would definitely recommend going to see a race. It was loud and fun, and you could feel the rumble in the grand stands. Speaking of grand stands, bring something to sit on!! These are concrete and not very comfortable, especially if you...

Racing was fast on this 1/2 mile track, and was fun watching the spectator races during intermission. If you don't smoke, it might be a problem for some, as many people were smoking.
