It seemed like a good place at first. My daughter liked it for a few months but then a lot of problems came up. She started suffering from anxiety to where she would cry and vomit getting ready for school. Turns out part of the cause is a certain band teacher. She wanted to transfer out of one of his classes to take a required class to graduate and it would've helped alleviate some of her anxiety, but he refused to let her. It's my opinion that he bullies the kids. My daughter says there's constant drug use in the bathrooms, 3 kids just overdosed there and it made the local news. My daughter was kicked out because of her anxiety problems and missed too many days. We were not notified that she was no longer enrolled there, she found out by coming to school and a teacher running up to her telling her to leave. Read moreI was surprised by the condition of the school. I hope they will be blessed with funding to renovate, update, clean, etc the inside and outside. I was shocked they didn't bother to clean the cafeteria during open house, knowing they would have guests/parents in the building. I asked my child if it was this dirty every day? I was told yes! That is very disappointing. And the bathrooms are horrible.
