Ok, ok, so…I CRAVE this place... ☺️ Like, no, I REALLY CRAVE THIS PLACE now, y’all !!Their food is beyond delicious…omg,🤤their pastries, (from what I understand), are all family recipes and when I asked about how they make the sambusa’s (which are, might I add, collapse-in-ecstasy-good!!),😁they told me they usually start making them at home to beat the rush so when they get there they can keep up with the industrial-oven and stuff…🥰🥰🥰…the foods are all native to Somalia, Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and Africa and they have this Brownie that… well, like I said, words cannot begin to describe how good the food is here. The people that work there are always so courteous, welcoming and REAL(like it’s a genuine ‘hi, how are you’. Not some plastic, over-recited greeting wishing you a ‘happy day’ because they HAVE to).☺️ the staff are wonderful and engaging and the atmosphere is chill and comfortable… (their increasing popularity-and for very valid reasons-should hopefully land them a larger space in the future) But as of right now, it’s still PERFECT!!!! (PS: I like to eat breakfast there, so I’ll grab a breakfast sambusa and two Philly cheesesteak sambusas for the road…3 for $11 and sometimes they don’t even make it home with me cause they taste SO good-even when they’re cold!) Oh! And the dirty chai will KNOCK YOUR FREAKING SOCKS OFF, man!!!! Don’t take it from me, tho… check it out for yourself! 🙏🙌🏼🤘🏼 (You can thank...
Read moreI first discovered these folks at a food festival, where they were selling sambusas and chai tea. The wife and I love trying new things, so we got a little of everything. It was DELICIOUS. Next time I saw them at a festival, I literally did a little dance because I was so excited to be able to get more. My wife and I got one of each sambusa and a chai tea to share, then brought it to the car to eat. Everything was so good, I got back out of the car, walked back to their tent, waited in a MASSIVE line, and got MORE. After we ate, I very seriously considered getting out again to get just one more sambusa. So imagine my immeasurable joy when I learned they had an actual brick and mortar location!!! Now I wouldn't have to wait for the festivals and markets to get my Sambusas and tea. But now I'm in danger of losing everything I own as I'm likely to start selling everything to buy more Horn. Nevermind how amazing everything they make is, everyone working there is incredibly friendly. Absolutely could not recommend this place enough! In fact, I'm about to leave the house...

I heard about The Horn Coffee Shop and the guys who own it a few months back, but never had the chance to make my way here. Two weeks ago, a friend of mine brought me out here for the first time, our experience was wonderful.
I had a small Somali Chai and two Sambusas. The Tea was very nice, and the Sambusas, one chicken and one beef, were definitely the best I have ever had. Last night, I came back and placed an order for 15 Sambusas to take home to have my family try them. He wrapped them while I was there, and I took them home to fry them. We are all hooked. (They also have Fish Sambusas which I have yet to try.)
I also had a banana pudding on the house! These guys have a Full Menu that you should definitely check out, from fries and burgers to Sambusas and ethnic Somali food.
The guys who started up the shop are the epitome of Southern Hospitality. They're very easy to talk to and the shop continues to retain an aura of...
