Tony's Foodland — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

I frequent Nashville alot, I always go the back way to avoid traffic and to have a more peaceful ride.

Last week I said I'm going to stop here versus,my regular store on the way back to Clarksville.

This is NOW my store for all and I mean ALL SHOPPING NEEDS! I was so impressed by the meat departments, they have 10 pound boxes of meat, I haven't seen that since I was a teenager!

The isles are neat, produce is awesome too!

The staff is friendly and helpful!! Tony,you have my business for life!

I will no longer shop at the "chain stores". The cashier told me if there are items I need to put in a request and he will make it happen.

They also have their own seasoning blend that they make in house. They also have a fully stocked meat department I can't say enough about the meat department it's very rare nowadays to find the quality of meat that they carry. For my understanding with speaking to a cashier they cut their own meat they package their own meat which is very rare nowadays.

Oh and for you beer lovers they have a beer cave of a variety of every kind of beer you could think of!

The other thing I really like is the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed nobody's pushing or shoving to get what they need in the store doesn't matter fact when I went into the store it was less than 20 people I was able to get in and out without feeling like someone was going to hit my ankles with a shopping cart.

They also have a hot deli area I didn't visit it on this trip but I plan on making your trip today and I'll visit it to see what all items they have if you're shopping at other stores you're definitely missing out try Tony's you will...

Terrific experience and great personal service while I was there. Definitely a little pricier than the bigger chainstores on some items but in line with other stores on bonus/sale options and worth it to actually be able to ask a question and not have the people run from you like the experience of so many larger stores; the owner himself may even be in the store and help you out I've seen. Come to find out he also helps out a lot of the area citizens through sponsorships and donations to local churches and other community groups and organizations, so I personally don't mind paying a bit more for that plus the added convenience to my house. Butcher shop on hand with freshly cut meats (to your liking as you watch if you prefer) and great meat sales monthly. I recommend the "Giant 10lb Meat Sale" if you have a family and need to stock up...

I am new to the Joelton area and my first impression of Tony's Foodland was simply WOW!!! It's a very nice, appealing small town grocery store. The parking lot was clean, carts weren't strolled everywhere, the inside was unlike most small town grocery stores I have been in and they even had a deli. The aisles were clean and uncrowded. The employees were very pleasant and spoke to me when I went through line, unlike places like Krogers where the cashiers do not even say the total out loud, they just hold their hand out. Of course being the only grocery store around, the prices are going to be slightly higher. I would much rather pay a little more and do my shopping at Tony's than get a few cents off and endure having to shop at Krogers. Thumbs up...
