I would give zero to Nashwauk Dental if I could.

I have never been to this pathetic, unprofessional excuse of a dental service. I had a first time appointment with Up North Dental in Virginia who were wonderful, professional, and courteous.

Nashwauk Dental split from Up North Dental of Virginia in January of 2025, and have been falsely billing me for services I never received from them ever since.

I received an appropriate bill for my services from Up North Dental of Virginia and paid it immediately in January, but Nashwauk Dental continues to harass me with their illegal duplicate billing for services I never received from them in both January and February of 2025.

When I called on 1/22/2025 to Nashwauk Dental to have this issue resolved, the young man I spoke with was kind and professional enough to explain the business split, and said he would have their billing department contact me later that day. I work out of cell service, and when I returned to cell service after the end of my work day there was a 37 second voicemail from Nashwauk Dental where the caller just shuffled papers, said nothing, and didn't leave a message or contact number.

I received a second illegal duplicate bill from Nashwauk Dental in February of 2025, saying my balance was 30 days past due (the balance I had already paid to the real provider, Up North Dental of Virginia in January). When I called today, 2/25/2025, the woman I spoke with was short and impatient with me, once again wasted my time trying to explain away their illegal duplicate bill by blaming it on their business split. She copped an attitude when I told her I had never been to Nashwauk Dental and wanted them to remove my name and contact information from their billing and patient account records. Her only offer to correct this idiotic, time wasting issue due entirely to her company's incompetence was to state that she would pass the information on to their billing individual (likely the same individual who left the blank voicemail a month earlier).

What an utterly incompetent, useless excuse for a medical service provider.

As I told the unprofessional woman sniping at me on the phone, if I receive yet another illegal duplicate bill from this unprofessional, sloppy company, I will file a complaint with the MN State Attorney General office for illegally charging me for services not received from this facility.

These people should all be embarrassed over their continued incompetence and...

I called to make an appointment. I was told by the secretary that I had cancelled twice and hung up on her once and I did not tell her why I had cancelled. The second time I cancelled I was broke. Since they make me pay in full each time I couldn't go.The secretary started bitching at me that I just can't call and cancel. So yes I hung up on her. I don't have to take this from a secretary. And since when does a patient have to have an explanation as to why they have to cancel . My cancellations were made within their limits. They could have gotten someone else in my time slot.Then She told me the dentist will not see me because of these cancellations. WOW. I will have to find a new dentist she told me.I do not have dental insurance.I get 10 percent off for paying cash. Are no insurance patients being weeded out ?They know I cannot afford to get new teeth or caps etc. I don't have all my teeth anymore. So my little bit of dentistry wouldn't make them rich that's for sure. I read other reviews here. It sounds like other people have been treated rudely by a secretary there also. I got in at my new dentist the next day. Glad to be out of this dentists office. Thanks for refusing to treat me because of 2 cancellations. I don't have to put up with rude people. So bye up...

I had two teeth pulled at up north dental. That I believe were unecessary to pull because they did not stop the pain I was experiencing. When I returned three times complaining of pain. They said it was probably just my wisdom tooth trying to push through. Since I did not receive help for the continued pain. I sought out another dentist. Who by exam said there appeared to be an infection in my wisdom tooth ( at additional expense) I was referred to an oral surgeon who determined that surgery was necessary. At more expense. After surgery the pain was gone, This was the problem all along. I sent a letter to CJ expressing my opinion that the two teeth pulled was unnecessary and I should not be required to continue payments for them. It was ignored and I was threatened with sending my outstanding bill to collections. Therefore I would not recommend this...
