We have rented the same condo in Navarre since 2018. This year it was swapped from being managed by Gulf Coast Getaways to Blue Moon Vacation Rentals. We really loved the condo & have never had any issues so I rented from Blue Moon.
Bad experiece from the start. In the past, Gulf Coast Getaways has texted me the door code around 15 minutes prior to check in and we go right in at check in time. This year, at 4:00 (check in time) we still didn't have our door code. I called and requested the code. Blue Moon said the inspector hadn't made it yet and we couldn't go in. I declined the inspection and requested the code. We got the code (after check in time) and entered the condo. As we were unloading our items, a woman stormed in. NEVER introduced herself, just proceeded to walk through the condo. She said several times that she had walked 4 miles to get there (due to traffice from the air show in Pensacola). There wasn't anymore traffic than normal. We stayed in Navarre, not Pensacola. Parking lot was full of people that had driven there. I requested another parking pass. Her response- Not sure if she could walk the 4 miles back to the office and 4 miles back to condo in time to get it to me.
Several things weren't great at condo, but we didn't complain. Washer didn't wash or rinse on cold water. Only washed and rinsed on super hot water. Ruined several delicate clothing items before I realized.
We made sure to leave condo very clean. There was a long list of charges that would be made to security deposit. Thought we were good. Then I get an email an hour and 45 minutes after check out that they are withholding my $1000 security deposit. They attached pictures of dirty spots on several towels and 2 sheets. Normal dirty spots that occur after a week of use. The items needed to be washed. Which Blue Moon is supposed to handle. Also sent me a pic of a worn bath cloth. It was worn when I got there. In hindsight, I should have spent valuable vacation time when I arrived inspecting each $2 bathcloth & $5 towel. (Attaching the pics they sent me)
I have never had any of my security deposit withheld.
Learn from my mistakes. Rent from Gulf...

WiFi is really iffy. The Roku on the main TV works fine, as the WiFi is wired to the Roku.
The closet on the porch has two beach chairs, an umbrella, and two bodyboards
After beach: When facing the building from the parking lot, on the right side of the ramp to the condo, there is a short green hose to be used for foot washing. The pool also has an outdoor shower to be used to wash the sand off
Games in a basket next to kitchen counter: Dominos, Scrabble, playing cards, UNO(?), Rummikub
TRAVEL TIPS: Nearest public beach access: Navarre Beach Walkover 37A, southwest of the condo Google Maps address: Public Beach Access #37A, 7427 Gulf Blvd, Navarre, FL 32566 The route is under half a mile, and it took me about five minutes to walk from the condo to this beach access point while pushing a toddler in a stroller. There are about 15 parking spots at 37A, four of which are handicapped spots, and they were often full. Best to walk.
The next closest walkable public beach access (the other access points are private) is Navarre Beach Walkover 37B, southeast of the condo, about a 10 minute walk.
Ladies, skip pink toenail polish. The fish were hot after my toes with them being painted pink. The jellyfish here are pink.
This is a nature-lovers beach town. We loved how quiet the area is. Wilderness is on both sides of Navarre Beach.
There are a few restaurants in Navarre Beach, and one gas station, Kroger-owned Tom Thumb, where you can buy some basics. Two minutes was all it took us to drive over the bridge to Navarre on the mainland. Navarre has many restaurants, grocery stores (they carry beach items, too) and a nice playground with a splash pad.
We drove to the Fort Pickens. To enter, the National Park Service (NPS) charges $25 per vehicle, good for seven days. Keep the receipt and use it to enter NPS' Opal Beach, just west of Navarre Beach, for a more secluded beach experience.
We're already dreaming of our next Navarre Beach adventure....
Read moreDef 5 star …maybe our favorite yet after years of beach getaways! What a special place this is to enjoy the beach with your loved ones. The pics, as good as they are, dont even do it justice, especially of the ocean views from both inside the unit as well as from the balconies/decks. They are just beautiful and so therapeutic. This roomy, 3 level 4 bedroom townhome allowed our 4 family group of 12 to spread out and have our own private places to retreat and rest, as well as the whole main floor as space to gather. It is such a clean, beautifully decorated unit that makes you just feel good, immediately putting you at rest. Being the beach lovers that we are, we seldom left the unit, eating many of our meals in. This kitchen goes above and beyond what you would expect while on vacation, which was SO NICE, especially for larger groups (larger pots and pans) for those who like to eat in. We loved eating sunset meals out on the X-large deck! We were welcomed with nice little touches throughout the unit, a little lagniappe, like the welcome gifts. :) . The bathrooms also had little starter toiletry pouches, qtips, hair wraps etc. That master suite tho…including the amazing oversized shower with double shower heads and extra sprayers…all so nice. Much more could be said about the unit, like it being an end with an undeveloped lot next door, large windows to let in all of the views, the amazing beach access/boardwalk right outside your main floor sliding glass doors…but the BEST part had to be the quick, responsive and particularly CARING staff we were blessed to have (thumbs up to Blue Moon Realestate and especially “Malinda”). Any need we had, they were there. We were blessed with this unit, highly recommend it, and hope to return!
Oh yeah, also there is a great designated street side path to run/walk/stroll/bike ride that we enjoyed. We hope to bring our...
