Dollar General — Local services in Neeses

I really like the employees here they're friendly, polite, understanding, and treat you like a friend that they've known for years but this location is hands down the WORST when it comes to restocking even worse than Walmart (which trust me is saying a lot) like i'm not even kidding when I say that there's been empty shelves and items out of stock for literal months with not even a single one of those items being restocked during all of that time. And these aren't some niche hard to find not in demand items that i'm trying to buy from them either but in demand and common really basic standard items that 99.9% of the world's population use (cat food, dog food, shampoo, conditioner, cup of noodles, body wash, perfume, soda, tylenol, mouthwash, etc).

I used to shop here at least two or three times a week and they were always my go to but for the past half a year i've only been going maybe once every month if that because of the insane amount of out of stock items, never restocking, and it being a complete waste of my time since 99.9% of the time they never even have what I need. I'll go there needing 20 items and will be lucky to just get 1 of those.

I don't know if it's just laziness and them not wanting to restock shelves, if it's bad management that either doesn't care or doesn't properly keep track of what is and isn't in stock and doesn't order more items that are out of stock or what (i'm leaning towards it being a personal store issue because i've gone to all of the other local Dollar General locations ones not even 6 minutes away from this one and they don't have these same issues and will always restock at least a couple of an item at least once a week or sooner) but I wish they'd fix it... i'm so tired of coming here really needing something, just seeing empty shelves, and not being able to get...

Serious Safety Hazard – No Action Taken

MY FATHER AND NEPHEW PUT CONES AND WOOD TO COVER THE HOLE!!!!!!!

There is an open, uncovered well on this property that poses a major safety hazard to the public. I brought it to the store’s attention, but they have refused to address it.

Out of concern for the community, I’ve also contacted Town Hall, DHEC (SC Department of Health and Environmental Control), and the SC Department of Environmental Services to report the issue. It’s unacceptable for something this dangerous to go ignored, especially when lives — including children or pets — could be at risk.

I truly hope the store takes responsibility and resolves this before someone gets...

This has got to be the most nast unorganized dollar general of them all the store is cluttered lines are long whike employees are outside smoking cant get a cart because all of them are outside and when there is one it hardly rolls customer service sucks and prices are high even though i live right across the street i will drive to Swansea to spend my money ended up walking out on a 80.00 purchase because the self checkout needed a managers assistance and the nasty cashier with the braids that never speaks nor acknowledge customers stood in the front calling for a manager when all she had to to was go and get her this store is SLACK and needs new management...
