we found this place with a google search for any catering we could find for our daughter's wedding in UT this past summer. we were planning a wedding in Fillmore, UT from Florida. When BBQ came up it was a good option for her "ranch wedding". But this turned out to be far better than just a good option. this was the best possible way to go. the pricing is fair and reasonable. the amount of food was way beyond what it says it is recommended for. the quality is superb. EVERYONE loved the food and kept asking where we found this bbq. The delivery was on time, he laid it out beautifully and efficiently before I could even get over to greet him. he has more professionalism and competency than I have experienced in a long time. The owner was kind, gracious and wonderful to work with.He eased this part of the wedding planning tremendously for us. I honestly cannot say enough about this place. we had so much left over we were able to send food home with out of town guests, and we were able to eat for days following the wedding. I hired RJ BBQ and Catering to cater a buffet dinner for my daughter's wedding in the remote Ibex hardpan area of Utah, about 90 minutes from Nephi. The location had the challenge of no electricity, no water, and no wifi. I live in Georgia, and was so impressed that owner Ryan John responded promptly and thoroughly to every phone call and email, answering every question I had. Ryan made helpful suggestions for the buffet menu to feed the wedding reception dinner to 130 people, including 30 vegetarians. The 2 employees who delivered and set up the buffet arrived on time and were so friendly and attentive, ensuring that all guests were served. EVERYONE loved the food offerings: BBQ brisket, pulled pork, BBQ jackfruit, various BBQ sauces, coleslaw, potato salad, mac 'n' cheese, baked beans, and fruit cobbler. The food was delicious and plentiful. Several of us ate leftovers 2 days later, and they were just as yummy as on the night of the wedding dinner. This food truck was at the Young Living Farms Rodeo and Fall Festival. Sept 28, 2019. $12 for a combo meal consisting of a bun, less than 1/3 cup of tiny tasteless chopped brisket BITS, tasteless coleslaw made from iceberg lettuce, and no chips, which were advertised as part of the meal. You know you're not tasting good barbeque when the best part of the meal is the pickle spear. I understand that food trucks are going to cost a bit more than store fronts, but I do expect to get a decent meal from the $12 cost. The whole meal weighed less than 4 ozs in the Styrofoam container. I'll avoid this food truck from now on.
