Dollar Fresh Market — Local services in Nevada

I LOVED THIS STORE....UNTIL TODAY 🙁 I am new to the area. I purchased a bag of Avocados last weekend. Today is Thursday. There were 4 pieces of fruit in the bag (yes avacados are fruits..who knew lol). Anyway all 4 pieces were/are rotten. I am disappointed because I was told that this Stores' freshness guarantee is 24 to 48 hours only. I do not always eat all my produce within 48 hours. I expected to have my avacados replaced or at least a partial credit.. but I was refused. The Manager was not as kind as she could have been. I guess I am used to the stores up North who gladly replace subpar items...oh well Maybe the holidays bring the Grinch out in all of us...me included..lol I will try the other local store. ...

The place smells pretty bad when you first walk in and it’s very messy. I went the other day and whoever was restocking chips decided to throw the old bags in the middle of the isle which resulted in my 5 year old almost face planting into one of the poles in the middle of the isle. You also REALLY need to keep an eye on the expiration dates. Nearly everytime I go in I can find hamburger meat that expired days ago, along with lunchables and deli meat (I have seen expired over a month) I did message the store manager about the expired foods last year and she said she will take my “thoughts into consideration” …it’s expired food, take them off the shelf. It's not that they don't have some good prices on some things. We have chosen to stop shopping here simply because instead of using the word competitor on their signs inside and outside. They are blasting a store that has served, really served the community of Nevada for and 20 years. To say you're items are cheaper than your competitor is normal... To make it personal, is unprofessional and ugly. Either you serve the whole community and are known by you kindness and respect or you are self serving.
