Bear & Boards Charcuterie — Local services in New Bern

I recently hosted a brunch and had several ladies attending with various food allergies. To make sure everyone could enjoy the spread, I ordered a custom gluten-free and dairy-free charcuterie board along with gluten-free blackberry caprese skewers from Bear & Boards Charcuterie — and WOW, they absolutely delivered!

The charcuterie board was beyond impressive. The dairy-free cheeses were a huge hit, and included a vegan “feta,” a dairy-free/gluten-free Boursin, and a vegan pepper jack. Everyone was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were and immediately asked where they could purchase them for themselves.

The blackberry caprese skewers were equally amazing — so fresh and bursting with flavor! They were the perfect light and vibrant addition to our brunch spread.

Unbelievably beautiful and tasty charcuterie box that Mike, one of the owners, helped me select for my wife's birthday on a boat cruise of the rivers in New Bern! I needed to time it for pickup, and he met me at Coastal Cravin' Bagelry to deliver. It was still cold, so I didn't' have to worry about food getting warm or spoiling. Additionally, between emails and texts, they kept me apprised of the order being accepted, and then completed. So, very excellent communication! Ordered the medium charcuterie board for the morning of our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! They delivered directly to our venue, and it was both beautiful and delicious. The fruit was so fresh, and the mix of cheeses and meats was the perfect variety for everyone to enjoy. It made the perfect snack spread for our bridal party while getting ready before the ceremony.
