08-17-25 I'm giving this store based on what it is and that's consignment. This is advertised as an antiques store not a thrift store. This is for people looking to buy antiques and willing to pay retail prices. If you're looking to pick and resell, this is probably not the store for you. Not to say there isn't a diamond in the rough but they will be few and far between. On the day I was there a few months ago, I found the employees to be nice and very helpful. If you're looking for a hard to find item, this may be the place for you. The downstairs is very small but the upstairs, takes forever to get through. Read moreThis thrift shop has a wide and unique variety of items, with most pieces being antiques. While the selection is impressive, prices are on the higher side for many items. If you plan to visit, be prepared to spend a few hours browsing—there’s a lot to see. I came across many pieces from the 1960s–1970s that brought back childhood memories.
I’m giving 3 stars: 2 for the unique selection and 1 for the excellent service from one standout employee. It appears the store is geared more toward sellers who bring in items than buyers looking for deals. Some pieces are also sold...
Read moreThis antique mall offers so much variety and many amazing items! It's great to see such a great use of space in the Mon Valley--bringing jobs, income, and revenue to the area. The first floor is a bit small; but don't worry, the upstairs is HUGE. Plan for time accordingly so you can see everything in stock. The Whistle Stop is easy enough to find, it's right beside the New Eagle Post Office-- just be careful not to park in the Post Office lot (they don't appreciate it). A huge parking lot is available on the side of the building. Make sure to visit this...
