I checked in on my app to pick up an online order. I get harassed about a mask even though I explained to her I have asthma and can't breathe wearing a mask and then she tells me pick up is on the other side of the store so I get a motorized cart cuz I'm disabled and can't walk that far. As I'm going to the pickup location I see a guy walking with my order so I try to catch up to him but he already went to the back of the store and put it away so I go to the pickup location and scan my phone nothing happened then I entered the last 4 digits of the order number and I wait. My fiance tells the guy at self check how long we have been waiting and he just says they are busy and didn't try to radio the guy who had my box. We hit the help button and noone comes to see us. We waited 42 minutes before he brought my order to us didn't even look at my phone just said my name and put it in the cart and walked away not even saying thank you or sorry for the wait. It was very poor customer service all around. We were the only people waiting to pick up an order so waiting 42 minutes was not necessary. You'd think a multi billion dollar company could hire more people to be able to get the online orders out to the customers in a timely manner and teach them to wait for the customer instead of putting the order back in the back of the store. Also if a customer says they have health issues like asthma we should not be treated badly by the greeter. My dr has told me not to wear a mask since I can't breathe wearing a mask and they put me in a full blown asthma attack. Even the Salvation Army guy was asking people about a mask who were going to the store and not donating to the Salvation Army and thats not his job! His job is to collect donations and ring the bell. I sure hope walmart does better next time. I could have been in and out of the store if I wasn't being harassed by...
Read moreCashier Kaylee or Kylee...young girl, always looks mad. Well turns out she is always mad. Twice now, I have had the misfortune of ending up in her check out line. Now most customer service representatives would AT LEAST smile...or maybe even a hello, did you find everything okay would be something to start with. Nothing, and on top of it...she appears mad that she is at work and loathes her life/job. Now I know most people who work at Walmart are very friendly so I know it's not how they're training their team members, it is just specifically this girl. The first time, I brought a family member from out of town to the Walmart in New London and she proceeded to moan and groan when she got called up to the service desk to check us out and then had a meltdown when there was no money in the drawer. She proceeded to slam the drawer and frustratingly asked the representative working next to her what to do. It was so unprofessional, I was embarrassed for her. And just today I brought my niece in and she was so grumpy, My niece asked me if there was something wrong with her.... I proceeded with the life lesson about if you don't want to work with people, find a new job that's not a customer service, especially at Walmart where they pride on their friendliness and helpfulness. Scan the checkouts before you hop in line and avoid this girl at all cost. She will ruin...
Read moreMore expensive and less of a selection than Walmart Supercenters. By less of a selection I don't mean the obvious - not a Supercenter - not as much stuff. By less of a selection I mean the stuff they do have; the good selling products that everyone needs and buys are always sold out and there is always an over abundance of off sizes, and stuff no one wants. Which also seems obvious, everyone just bought the more popular items and sizes. Nope, there are 8000 granny panties, and zero options for anyone younger, or with different tastes. It seems the answer to this too is obvious, shop somewhere else. Not when you're in a hurry and really need some half-way decent looking bras or panties. The nearest store to buy such things is 30 miles away. Shoes, expect all the most common sizes to be gone. Kids shoes, forget about it - unless a shipment for the new season just came in. However, the store is always full of customers. It's Wal-Mart, and this town is poor with no other options so you're going to have your everyday browsers and impulse buyers. But, if you're going there for something specific, hope it's not a hot selling item. Also, be nice to the front service counter staff if you have any business to tend to up there, or they will make your life a living hell just...
