Last year I had them service my riding mower, my regular mower and my walk behind leaf blower. The regular mower worked fine. I wasn't impressed with walk behind, but the driver convinced me that at least it started and I shouldn't make a big deal about it. My riding mower was not so good. It wouldn't start. The driver was standing there. He put it back on the trailer. When he came back, it still didn't start, but he showed me a simple trick and it worked. BUT there was a noise that wasn't there previously and he heard it. So, for the 3rd time it was taken back to the shop. Shane, the owner, was sincere in trying to fix the problem. He handled it himself. I appreciated his dedication as an owner. Today, my first time out mowing the lawn. OMG! The PTO cable which was replaced was working intermittently. As is shown in the picture I have included. He also replaced a bolt (free of charge) that was for the steering. For whatever reason, it went back to not working. As much as I want to believe that this company is an honest company, and I do, I am still left with a mower that does not operate properly. I seem to not have the best of luck with this company based on the good reviews...
Read moreCub Cadet riding mower wouldn't go forward or backward. After researching all the reviews, Outdoor Power Plus had the best reviews. So I took the mower to them even though it was an hour and a half away. The guy explained that they were 3 weeks behind but I told him that they had the most positive reviews and I preferred them work on it. Within a week, I was contacted and I was told that it wasn't anything external so they would have to tear down the transmission to see what was wrong with it. Another week passed and I was told that Cub Cadet didn't want the transmission torn down but they would replace it because the mower was only a year old and still under warranty. Outdoor Power Plus ordered the new transmission and in less than 2 weeks, they had the mower up and running again.
