I browsed Antique Purveyor's inventory on-line and bought the perfect Jupe table for us without seeing it in person first. It was even MORE beautiful in person when we went to pick it up! We had e-mailed back and forth and they were patient as I needed to wait to pick it up until after the kitchen cabinets were installed. We watched the gentleman wrap our table top (with all it's moving parts) and pedestal like they were going to be parachuted out of an airplane to some remote location--not put on our trailer for a short ride home. While we were there we saw a whole dining room set ready to be shipped to Bermuda and I bet it'll get there in perfect condition! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them and have something shipped based on their photos--they want you to LOVE your furniture as much as they do! BTW Jupe tables are amazing reproductions of an 1880's design that expand round-to-round. For example, ours goes from 54 inches round to 70 inches round when we pull out the wedges and unfold the leaves in between...really amazing engineering and conversation piece--not to mention gorgeous wood! They make much bigger ones, too, but we don't have room so this is perfect for us. I hope you discover just what you want at Antique...

I bought a round Jupe table from Antique Purveyor and could not be more happy with it. I was nervous buying a table that expensive sight unseen and without visiting the showroom. Rather than making me drive an hour from my house, Donald from Antique Purveyor offered to do a video call with me and show me the tabletop over FaceTime.

When it came time to pick up the table, they let us inspect again before taking off site, and packaged that puppy up like it was being launched to the moon. My husband and I were really impressed by the care they took in making sure it didn't get damaged during transport and unloading. My wife and I have been looking for a large dining room table for almost 2 years. The tables that we found were of poor design or lacked quality.
