New Milford Bike Shop — Local services in New Milford

This place nearly came through in a pinch.

On a day the shop was closed, I was riding through town and had lunch in the park around the corner from the bike shop. After lunch and about a mile away, it became clear that a screw from my shoe’s cleat had fallen out and was missing. My teammate and I quickly turned around and headed to the bike shop unaware of its operational status.

Although they were closed, there was a sign on the door with a phone number—I’m guessing it is pandemic protocol. We called and he answered. I explained my problem and he came right down to look for the part I needed. As he began to look for another screw, my teammate rode back to the lunch bench and found the screw. Wild, I know! As my teammate returned victorious, the shop owner (?) came out with exactly what I asked for and said he had taken it out of a set he found. He was relieved he didn’t have to break up the set. Great service!
