Gentilly Fest — Local services in New Orleans

Do not pay for vip tickets.. vip bathroom was a porter party bathroom..."free" alcohol was beer and wine...the"free" food : fried chicken wings, box jumbalaya, pasta with a white sauce and sausages, bread pudding with raising, finger sandwich fyi i dont eat pork .....80somthing a person please tell me why you couldn't spend money on good food when we are in Louisiana....BTW vip staff was rude like someone grandma's 😒 if I spent 80 dollars and don't drink beer and wine or eat pork...don't tell me something about asking for an extra roast beef sandwich 🤔 do better for your vip experience....nothing was vip for those tickets other than the parking....i am leaving a review only so yall can improve.....do better gentilly...... or make vip tickets cheaper if you'll not invest in the...

What a great community event. The food was amazing with lots of options. The variety of music from marching bands, jazz, hip-hop, pop and gospel and off course 803 Fresh "Boots on the ground". The kids area offered a variety of fun things for kids. The community out reach covered everything from cell phones, city services information, insurance and more. Best of all the just good community...

I went to the Gretna festival last weekend and paid a $40 entrance fee, it was ok! The Gentility fest is free and better than ok!! Great local artists, foods, shops and crafts. Also lots of community support tents, health, etc. Thank you! organisers and sponsors. Will be back as often...
