Morton County Fairgrounds — Local services in New Salem

Today I went to the Morton County Fair for the first time. Although a smaller venue there was still plenty to do and see. Went there with my brother and his family and had a lot of fun. Improvements would be to have more food available for purchase. They only had the 4-H concessions and a snow cone/cotton candy trailer. Improvements also would be to have better parking as there are rows of cars but only one way in and you had the back out if there were no spots available. Really enjoyed the power wheel Derby for the kids, it was a lot of fun watching. Left earlier in the day, but the truck pull and rodeo sounded like...

A fun filled 5 days of activities! Love the variety of vendors, and the many many other things to do and watch. Decent prices to get in. Salem Sue is right up the hill, there are several parks in town, gas stations for convenience, coffee shops. You name it. Come...

Good rodeo grounds. The chute placement is perfect: if you get the right, honest, straight away horse, you have the whole length of the arena to ride. Unfortunately, I didn't get that horse but I walked away... They have 4h, ffa, and the Rodeo...
