My fiancée and I went here for the first time after having had a terrible experience at Jared (where we were belittled and talked down to because we went for a non-traditional center stone, then they tried to convince me it wasn’t real gold despite the very clear stamp and certificate of authenticity, and then refused to resize it). So, we decided on a local place because we heard that Hoosier Jewelry had a great reputation for outstanding customer service.

I can say confidently that at Hoosier Jewelry, they are incredible! They were unsurprised by our experience at the chain jewelers and I can firmly say that I will never go anywhere but here in the future. Truly, they have extraordinary kindness customer service!

We went back today to buy a wedding band in advance of the ceremony in September, and, once again, they were fantastic! When my fiancée was trying on the various bands with the engagement ring, the first two were a bit more grandiose but didn’t quite seem to fit with the engagement ring, the salesman we were working with pulled out a simple rose gold band that looked awesome with the engagement ring; he said that he felt that that was the perfect option as it complimented the engagement ring. What I sincerely appreciate was the honesty and not trying to up-sell for the sake of up-selling. He genuinely wanted us to go with the ring that looked the best. You just can’t find that level of honesty in customer service businesses these days.

Additionally, they insisted on polishing my fiancées engagement ring and told us to come back a few days before the wedding and to bring all of the jewelry she plans on wearing for them to polish ahead of time and free of charge!

I cannot recommend them enough for all things...

I have been here several times and the customer service is unprecedented. Especially my last visit. My brother-in-law, John Crowe, had been in the hospital for over 2 months after receiving a bone marrow transplant and was not doing well. On Thursday afternoon he made the decision to stop receiving treatment and wanted to go home so he could be there when he passed. A few days before, he had asked my wife and I if we could get his lass ring repaired. It was missing the black onyx stone. He said wanted to give it to his wife of 25 years, whom he loved dearly, and ask her if she wanted to go steady with him. On Friday, the day after his decision, I took it to Hoosier Jewelry and was waited on by Tim. I briefly explained why I needed to have the ring repaired. Tim asked me how long he had and I let him know the doctor had said only 2-3 days. As busy as they were with repairs, Tim found a black onyx that fit perfectly and immediately took it into the repair shop and had the ring repaired and cleaned while I waited. I was able to take the room back to the hospital, give it to him and he asked his wife if she would go steady with him. She of course said yes. Tim had also found me a nice chain so his wife was able to let him see her wearing the ring around her neck. They were able to get him home that afternoon and he passed less than 24 hours later. Thanks to Tim, we were able to help John fulfill his wish. And for what he charged, I can't see how they even made any money. I will never buy jewelry...

This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! There are not enough stars or kind words to describe this business and the workers. They resized my engagement ring and while we were there I found a band I absolutely fell in love with! We just bought the band. And they are fixing it to my band. While I was explaining how I wanted it to sit with my ring (would not be completely flush) we both made a mistake. I wanted the emerald centered with the petal and he took that as being the same height as the petal. I explained better that I what I was looking for was the petal to sit over the the centered emerald. He apologized for the misunderstanding but it was definitely me for not explaining correctly. I 100% mislead them on that. But they are currently fixing it. I feel horrible for not just taking the ring as they are professionals and know what they are doing but this would absolutely bug me on a day to day basis. I will gladly go to them for whatever I need. They tell you honestly what can be done, what cant, why it cant be done, what looks best. Even if you dont want what they suggest they do not ridicule! They are 100% there for your best interest....
