I made a reservation and also paid a 25.00 fee for a party this Saturday for my daughter. I set up the reservation with a gentleman that worked there a month ago. I set up for the party to go from 1-3 pm with pizza and ice cream etc. Let you know when I first called over a month ago I left a voicemail and no one got back to me so then I had to call again and the lady had the gentleman call me back. Today the lady who I assume is the owner called me and told me that they messed up and have hockey scheduled for that day and I had to move my party to 8-10 pm this Sunday. I have already sent out all invitations to parents and had a head count ready. I told her we cant move it to that late due to kids having school the next day. The only thing she offered was a time that cant work for us and only a few day notice??????? Her excuse was she was out on surgery and there was miscommunication. I don't care if there was i set this up and paid you and also made plans with all the parents and kids coming. Good News is Rule 3 was able to accommodate our party. I will never recommend this company to anyone for booking a birthday party. I guess hockey is more important to them. You will never get our...
Read moreThis place was great , went today and some guy with a logo on his jacket said we weren't allowed to sit on the team benches and had to move and mumbled something about kids. Then made a few moms with kids move too. Of anyone needs to take a break, especially people with little ones why can we use the benches? No one is playing and it’s after the juggling kids scross the ice especially with you have multiple people blowing past these kids, even the figure skaters have no regard. Then when my wife tripped on a figure skaters divot all we got was a “it happens”. This place is close to home so I wanted it support them but skating the their ice that feels like gravel any more and avoiding divots from figure skaters has me regretting it. It’s so nerve racking for kids and inexperienced skaters going down. From his reaction, I’m sure he doesn’t care, whoever was on the ice, but I’d rather go to chiller or wait for the new rink to open in Newark then give them anymore money. Everyone ones been great staff wise besides this one person, the ice has been rough at...
Read moreI'm from Columbus and I was SO excited to come to public skate because the Chillers in Columbus don't have the best public skate times available with the Dublin Chiller being temporarily closed. However, this place seemed to have consistent hours and the public skate times were 45 mins longer than Chiller public skate hours. Score! Also, the staff was super friendly! However, once I actually made it on the ice, the rink was full of kids racing. And the racing was being led by the on ice staff. This happened during the ENTIRE 2 hours. During this time, one of the kids ran into me and hurt himself. I love seeing kids with a passion for skating, but racing during public skating is dangerous and should not be allowed. I was so hoping I had found a new place to come skate every week. I'm so sad that I won't...
