We worked with Seacoast Events to provide draping and Edison bulb lighting for the ceremony and cocktail hour spaces at our wedding. Although everything went smoothly on the wedding day, communication issues leading up to the event made working with this vendor unnecessarily difficult and stressful.
On the wedding day, their team arrived on time and handled the setup quite well. While we didn’t communicate with them much in person on that day, everything looked gorgeous and was ready right when it needed to be. They also returned that evening to take everything down without any issues.
However, we had major issues communicating with Seacoast Events. Right before we were going to sign our contract, we stopped hearing from them altogether. We emailed and called them numerous times for almost three weeks with no response. We even dialed their extension to speak with the manager on duty, and never got a response there either. After we had one of our other wedding vendors contact them on our behalf, they immediately sent a generic bounce back message explaining that an employee was on vacation and couldn’t respond to emails easily. The message also said to call the same number and extension as we did before to speak with the manager on duty, which of course did not work. When we did finally get a real response, it just contained an excuse to not send the contract because a piece of information was missing in our last message to them from before the vacation. At no point did this employee even address the fact that they failed to explain that they were going to be on vacation for four weeks before letting us sign a contract.
Although this all worked out in the end, it was a difficult process. We were fortunate to have them respond to us and sign a contract just in time for the wedding, but it could easily have not worked out that way. If you are going to work with this vendor, then we would at least recommend reaching out to them far in advance, especially if it is for an event as important...
Read moreAn unbelievably great experience from start to finish! I'm a lady in NC, looking to have multiple casino games at a Gatsby-themed party in southern NH, and I'm hiring a company from MA. Sounds like madness, but I'd easily do it all over again. Scott's pricing was fair, no additional fees (which several other companies weren't upfront about), he was very responsive to any question/concern I had, and he has such a professional group of employees. His crew arrived on time, set up while we were at the cocktail hour downstairs, and when we entered the main party room, Adam greeted each person with a beautiful green chip. That was THE perfect move (thank you for going with that option, Adam)! People instantly questioned, "What is happening?!" No joke, everyone raced to the three tables on the far right of the room and instantly started playing. The younger and slower started playing with the slots. Everyone kept coming up to me, saying how much fun this was and what a great idea to have a casino at the Gatsby party. These games instantly started a fun atmosphere where often people quickly become awkward. Thank you, Scott, for accommodating my event and having a professional, entertaining, and willing-to-teach-the-masses crew. The three tables (blackjack, craps, and roulette) and slot machines were gorgeous too. Truly professional all around. I could not have been more pleased. It was all the talk at brunch the...
Read moreWe have hired Seacoast Events twice now for our company events. Both times we have done Casino Nights, and the employees loved it! Our second time using them for a Casino Night we added on the Craps table and it was so worth it! The Seacoast Events team is absolutely amazing. They traveled to the hotel we were having our company events at and set up an entire area for us. Their team of dealers truly make the experience one of a kind. For those looking to learn they teach you how to play and talk you through the games. For those that already know how to play and want to play as if it’s real they are extremely professional and offer a real casino -like environment. I would 100%...
